Wow that was amazing! "Far Cry 2:Stuff Goes Esplode!" is going to be awesome. That wasn't really a comparison video though. All the scenes were too different from each other to compare anything. I mean "here's the PS3 version while riding on the glider, you can see the whole of Africa down there. This is the 360 version...you're in a boat...you can see about 20 meters." I don't think that reflects on the 360 or the Ps3, its probably just the developers wanting to show off ...
yesyesyes! Finally, this took too damn long to be announced. Like 5 years too long.
it looks less stylized than the screenshots i've seen. i hope this is just for the trailer because the super-cell shading is awesome.
Yeah...Sony's really hurting.
12.94million PS3s sold to 360's 19.03million (with a year headstart) according to vgchartz. what a "total disaster"!
The Cell is being used in IBM servers, Sony televisions, Toshiba televisions, computer monitors, military applications, and the list goes on. If you honestly think that Sony is LOSING money, you are off your rocker. All these losses are absorbed by their movie, home electronic, and cell phone divisions. I can't speak for all...
the difference between WoW and this is:
Sony is a multibillion dollar global corporation, and Blizzard isn't.
Sony can afford to continuously support this. Once all these official Home locations are developed it will take very little to maintain it (besides bandwidth of course). After that its really up to other developers to decide if they want to include Home support or not. Sony doesn't have to do squat.
That is an awesome idea. You visit the Event space for a game announcement. Maybe an exclusive first look at a trailer, even have an admin running around in a Kratos or Daxter costume, lol! They could even have a "ribbon cutting" ceremony for the game's official Home space! Imagine digital people crowding up on a digital doorway, the digital lights dim and a trailer starts playing. When the trailer is done the doors open and everyone rushes inside to get the first peek at God of War...
LET ME START BY SAYING I HAVEN'T PLAYED THIS GAME, AND I AM NOT TRYING TO STATE MY OPINION OF THE GAME. THIS IS AN OPINION OF THE REVIEW, AND THE SUBSEQUENT MENTIONING OF THE REVIEW ON AN UNRELATED AGENDA FILLED WEBSITE.
Don't you guys think the reviewer is being just a litttttle bit sarcastic? Don't you think that the cynical nature of the writing could possibly reflect his bitterness towards the game's difficulty and/or repetitiveness? NO?
Could it be possible that the r...
That's freaking retarded. If a Ps3 or 360 caused boils or Aids then i could see it being a question of ethics. Way to hyperbolize the importance of Wii-fit to untold levels. Not only will it tell you how much you weigh, it will also guarantee you a place in Heaven within high fiving distance of both God and Baby Jesus. Now that's what i call a game!!
the game looks efing awesome!
you either have to have faith in the review staff or individual reviewer's opinions as a whole or not at all. You can't just pick and choose which scores to boast, and which ones are the results of money hats. Personally i try to ignore the numbered part of the review, and actually read it. Sometimes a game is docked major points for some flaw that is unforgivable by the reviewer, but may not even make a difference to you. SOMETIMES you can tell by reading the review that the person writing i...
Would you kindly develop Bioshock for the PS3?
They paid them for what? A year of exclusivity? Well technically it's been exclusive for over a year ;D
Wow, I'm totally applying for the "photoshop guy" position at gamesradar. Its like they taped a mouse and keyboard to a one winged drunk duck, and let it waddle around until they had 15 crappy pictures.
*fingers crossed for Afrika being an endangered animal murder simulator!!!*
pleasepleaseplease!
Leave it to the good ol' Arizona Republican Mormons to bring down the Captain Obvious award. OF COURSE ITS BLOODY! That's one of the things that make it awesome! If you ask me the game's not complete unless Marcus gets a friggin' wood chipper as a weapon. Its not like he's chopping up puppies. Have these people seen any movies lately? Iron Man? The part where its SUPPOSED to be funny that a guy shoots himself in the head? Yeah, that part, the one where the 3 year old next to me started cracki...
What's next? Google Soul? YOU CAN NOT HAVE MY SOUL!!!
Maybe they went back to start developement on ps3? The original reason for it not being made for PS3 was because the relatively small install base in the launch year (which has now taken care of itself). I really don't see any reason that a Splinter Cell game would be exclusive to any one system. They never have been before. IGN has it listed as in developedment for 360, PC, and... DS? That just doesn't make any sense. In any event, expect news on this soon. Ubisoft will want to respond to th...
I'm not trying to be rude at all, but poor grammar, punctuation, and spelling make you look severely less credible. It also hacks away at peoples' motivation to read your post, no matter how insightful it may be. Its just hard to take someone serious when it looks like they typed a post with their toes.
it looks good. not awesome, but good. compared to most Wii games it looks like a masterpiece. if you're hoping for anything on the level of 360/ps3 though, just forget it. if the graphics come close, then the ai or animation will suffer. i don't even think the wii is capable of a polygon count equal to a ps3 or 360, at least not with an entire game going on around it. to be fair though, its always hard and sometimes impossible to judge graphics on a video with low resolution, and a lower fram...
It won't be long after it releases until they announce it for PS3. The prolonged developement time (it was started well before Double Agent came out on PS3) will force them to scratch the exclusivity. Unless of course it sells a billion copies. I hope they polish it until its gold because the concept of this game is great, even if it never comes to Ps3.
