Neat! A 300million dollar lie! Vista bites balls. Not so much on store bought machines, but if you build your own it doesn't make your life very easy. It wouldn't need to include a "Downgrade to XP" option on every Vista disc if it wasn't a complete disaster.

Sony never claimed Home was coming with this update. What are you saying? How is the Home delay a lie? They've never promised a concrete date for Home's release.

As of this moment its just Super Stardust HD that supports trophies. More are supposed to be coming soon including Warhawk, Pain, PJEden, Burnout Paradise, and more. SSHD is worth getting though.
While I would love to have another reason to revisit my games besides enjoyment I would also be willing to just say 'let's move forward to the future' and not worry about trophy patches. Since the Ps3 seems to get better as time goes by that's probably the best bet. On the other hand though, I've been rezombified by SuperStardust because of the trophies.
Especially when the 360 achievements are already in place. They should be able to just "port" them over easily I would think.
No, I don't work for or have ties to Sony besides being a gamer. I was simply sharing my opinion with this forum. I had small freezing issues like this following the 2.00 update. Not to the point where my PS3 wouldn't boot, but it would occasionally freeze doing random things. I attributed it to the problems I had when downloading the 2.00 update. I used a wireless connection and had some downloading troubles. When they released 2.10 or whatever it was a while later I used a wired connection ...
This same thing happened on a much smaller scale with the 2.0 update. It is purely corrupt data due to server congestion, nothing more. The reason there's more problems is because there's 6 million more PS3s since 2.0 and that's 6 million more people jamming the servers when they saw that glorious message telling them there was a firmware update. This was the most anticipated thing Sony has released so far, so naturally the server was dogpiled by millions of rabid PS3 owners who weren't expec...
Crowded servers caused this without a doubt. Add to that people using wireless connections, and you got yourself screwed up or corrupted update data. Mine works fine along with the majority of PS3's. Not because I'm magical, but because I used a CATV wired internet connection as opposed to wifi. Also try using a USB drive and update through the playstation website
You're darn tootin' it was money. 2k gave them the assignment to code the ps3 version, Venom said it wasn't possible. 2k trusted them, took their word for it, and decided not to throw money at a black hole. Turns out they were wrong though, and now we get our PS3 version! YAY!!

Although, when I started up Stardust it reset my PS3, and then downloaded the trophy update like nothing happened. It was weird, but it worked fine after that.
I really really hope they don't charge for the Conquest mode. Its a BF staple, and I was surprised to hear that they only shipped BC with Goldrush. Now I have no choice but to buy this game, be poor, and live off of stale bread, and couch cheetos.

For real. Gamers have been clambering for a NEW Chrono game for years, and this is what they get. If its a sign of Squenix trying to reignite the franchise before putting out a new game then awesome. Sadly, this will sell like hotcakes, and they will then port it to PSP, Wii, make a RTS version, ,Chrono: Tactics, blah, blah, and blah. Until they can't sell anymore, and then (when everyone's sick of the Chrono story) they'll FINALLY make a new Chrono.
