Really? What about all the really good PC ports then? Deus Ex? Valkyria Chronicles? Tomb Raider (for steam not the windows store?) Borderlands 1 and 2? Dragon's Dogma? Do those not count?
PC ports that are at least decent or better are actually super common, but nobody remembers those because that's how they're SUPPOSED to work, it's the ones that run like crap that stick out because they don't work properly.

For reference, 20ms= 0.02 seconds. Unless you're competitive gaming, you're unlikely to notice any difference between 20ms input lag and 40 ms input lag, but as you approach 100ms of lag (1/10th of a second) the difference gets to be really obvious.

Yeah, mods on PC cause the game to crash too. Part of being able to mod your game is taking resposibility for the integrity of your data and stability of your game, both of which you can quite easily break. If someone can't handle that, they shouldn't be modding the game.
Naughty Dog cheats. Specifically, Naughty dog is very good at drawing your eyes to where they want them to be and they skimp on detail in other places. I'm not. The difference is really, really obvious. At the risk of repeating myself, I think the game will likely look better at 1080p with more of the settings turned up. Why? Because I can play it at native 4k with approximately the same settings consoles use (slightly better tbh) and I think it looks better at 1080p with all the settings maxed.
I expect Naughty Dog will do better, they're pretty good about getting really pretty games running on underpowered hardw...
You all do know I could get similar visuals and a better framerate (compared to the PS4 pro) on a $550 dollar computer, which is actually the same price or cheaper after you add in the cost of PS+ over the next 3/4 years. (and PC get's all the benefits of PS+ for free.) Seems worth mentioning. TBH 1080p or 1440p with all the settings maxed (or near maxed) usually looks better.
If I wanted to buy used parts I could drop it all the way down to 450.
