I enjoyed them, I also liked having some sense of strategy to load out and combat, which have both been completely aborted from the game.
"Seven Samurai in space" is a very keen comparison. Hadn't thought of it.
Bioware games are generally more interesting from the female perspective so I don't doubt it.
It's disappointing that the game's combat has lost any sense of being and rpg and is pretty much a third person shooter now. That half the game is hardly genre defining. However, the "role playing", so to speak, of being your own Sheppard is stellar.
lol. Indeed, because these two games are just so similar...
The frame rate is so high on nearly all cards that the difference won't be noticeable to the human eye.
I find it funny that the assumption is if someone downloads this now, they won't be buying a real copy.
Try before you buy. Games are too expensive to take a chance on. If I feel it's worthy of my purchase, I do so.
Wut? Isn't the E3 demo 1080p?
It's nice to see that Far Cry 2 is only growing on people over time. Have some patience and really try to come to grips with the systems and you're rewarded with a truly fantastic shooter that's far removed from anything else out there.
If Far Cry 3 is to Far Cry 2 as Assassin's II is to I, my head will explode.
He runs a development studio that crafts fantastic games and likewise runs a digital service that makes the console scene seem like a total joke in terms of making digital a viable sales method. The only thing that can be claimed is that he has pride issues, and should probably just buy some PS3 dev kits with all that cash.
It's a sad thing that public favour means little in the face of cash hungry stockholders.
It was pretty roundabout and unfocussed.
A mixture of mental retardation and too much free time.
The book is closed on that world; BioShock was complete unto itself and doesn't need to be stretched out. The only decent premise for another game would be a prequel, to see the fall of Rapture, but that was stupidly reserved for a multiplayer game that no one will be playing past the first month of release.
@deadreckoning666 Hello HipHopGamer who's trying to sound legitimate by creating ghost accounts.
Either that or you are a real, mentally retarded person.
The perfect cast is no one, because Gears of War would make a horrendous movie.
Don't mind n4g zealots, they've never even picked up and read an issue of Edge. Instead, they just call them biased because the mag's critical analysis doesn't align with their sad little religion.
And agreed on the preview front, but I also have to disagree and say that their reviews are some of the most intelligent and accurate out there - the majority of the time.
Play the game first, retards.
Very accurate review. While the story, world, and "roleplaying" are fantastic, the game is far too easy and diluted for the console crowd.
