Capcom is taking the opportunity to throw all their failures on Grin. Was Bionic Commando a great game? No, but it was decent enough.
The game's failure is as much Grin's as it is Capcom's. Lesser games have sold more and it simply comes down to a matter of zero marketing or support come the game's release time - not to mention another awful Capcom demo which threw gamers deep into a skill heavy multiplayer game without any guidance (see Lost Planet 2).
Here comes the hate, brought to you by fanboy blinders.
I am going to take a guess and say that this is written by that raging retard, Ben Dutka. Will not click.
They're consoles, they both do the same things. Only through demented intellectual gynastics can you arrive at the hair brained notion that one is better purposed for single gaming.
Edge has been putting out fantastic content in this vein for years. It's good to see a mag following in their footsteps - after all, preview/review filler just doesn't cut it for print any more.
That commentary is equivalent to these n4g threads: A lot of noise and no insight.
That Dragon at 25% off seems like a weak deal is a testament to how insane the rest of them have been.
Stalker was two dollars. Two. Dollars.
These recurring Steam deals inspired me to build a rig and ditch a certain paid service that only gives back sub par junk. PC gaming is alive and well.
Mass Effect is rpg lite, diluted for consoles. It's pop, which is fine, but it doesn't have the complexities of Dragon Age.
Their deals are a bunch of lols compared to Steam's.
It's a toss up between Demon's Souls and Dragon Age, simply can't choose.
Yes, pretty much. If you think a trailer, or even a demo, is representative of an entire game, you're a fool.
@Ceekay
Lazy? You are obviously absolutely ignorant to what goes into videogame development. Developers only have an allotted amount of man power and resources, it's Sega that should have invested in Platinum to handle the port if they had true faith in their product.
Essentially seems like more Indigo Prophesy, which is good. Problem is that it didn't sell before.
Your very foolish loss.
Hopefully Platinum Games will handle both versions should there be a sequel.
They're on a show about young Italian men who struggle to repress their pent up gayness. Nasty skanks also make an appearance.
Add Modern Warfare 2 but also leave Killzone 2. The shooter has moved past these linear bores.
Can we please put 'next gen' to rest? It doesn't mean a thing.
No one is talking about controls or graphics, they claim to know that this is simply DMC dressed in new clothes - a generalisation that simply can't be made of an entire game that's designed to increasingly introduce new functions to its mechanics throughout.
You're basing your opinion of an entire game on a demo. lolz
Me too! I sold my Wii last year. If this is the start of a trend (i.e. new versions of old Nintendo games released on the Wii) I will buy another one very soon.
