It's one of the the best looking games on any platform. It's total eye-candy.

The choice is good to have for its own sake. But both modes are impressive.
I found it weird to see it when I played this. Even though I had seen it before. I got over it in a second or two but yeah, it was distracting.
I thought I would be the same beyond testing the modes out and grabbing screenshots but fidelity mode is just that little bit more gorgeous. I ended playing most of it in FM.

I remember reading the disc trick in an unofficial PS magazine and they suggested using the demo disc cos you would likely scratch that disc while pulling it out in a hurry.

It looks better in real life than in photos.
Whereas I think the XSX doesn't look as good in real life.
Haha my living room was too dark to get decent photos and mine isn't in a unit, it's sidled up next to the TV :)

Really well said. The design seems to come from a unified vision. Sony made (almost) every decision based on meeting that vision.
