OT - As a Star Wars/Trek/Firefly fan I'm liking the current spike in space games. Between NMS, Rebel Galaxy, Elite Dangerous, Eve Valkyrie, and possibly Everspace, I'll be spending a lot of time in zero gravity this generation. I'm especially hyped at the thought of playing EV and NMS with PSVR.

No worries. The release trailer didn't make a distinction either so I got all excited and checked the PS store on that day only to be let down. At least "later this year" isn't too huge a time span.

It would be nice, but is it "important"? I would say no, even though I used custom backgrounds on PS3. Having folders would be more important, and I don't even care about those.
DD is a more powerful companion imo. He's basically like having radar. You can use Quiet and still accidentally have all hell break loose, but with DD I'm like an invisible wraith terrorizing the enemy. I thought Quiet was the most powerful too until I started using DD.
Funny. When I went to preorder Battlefront yesterday I got into a discussion about the beta with an employee of the store and a few customers. Everyone involved thought it was a good game. Not perfect, but good. The guy behind the counter said the beta response was generally good, based on what he was seeing (new preorders vs cancels). I brought up the lack of Galaxy Conquest as a negative and no one else seemed to care. I think some people are overestimating the negatives and underestimating...

How does any of that prove the game isn't more dated than Destiny? I'm not even saying I agree with this article, but your argument isn't a very good one. Just going by what you listed there, Halo 5 sounds much more like a typical shooter than Destiny.

Your idea for a dream reminded me of that.
So far this looks more like a video making app than a game, but I understand there is more to be revealed. I look forward to new info and since I'm a creative type I'll buy this even if it's only for making videos, but if it's also a game… bonus.

I saw all of that while watching beta streams.
I think a lot of disgruntled old SWBF fans also don't take into account that many current gamers never played those old versions, so listing what's not in there is meaningless to a lot of people. I played the hell out both old SWBFs and I like this too. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.
