I wasn't referring to you with the moving goalposts thing. I just meant that with the graphics vs frame rate issue there are gamers on both sides and also gamers who seemingly can't make up their minds.
Moving goalposts is a fact of life in gaming, it seems.
I wouldn't say it's "not even close to the single-player game" but I definitely agree about the matchmaking and lack of modes. I enjoy 2 of the 3 modes on offer, but I really only like playing on the bigger maps. Rush maps turn the game into a much more typical shooter imo.
Any word on when the consoles get this? The review says it's out but I think it's only on PC at the moment.
Never heard of it, but if it comes to PS4 I'll be interested. Between Rebel Galaxy, No Man's Sky, Elite Dangerous, and this game, space is getting crowded. As a Star Wars/Star Trek/Firefly nerd that's fine by me.
Agreed and agreed.
Looking forward to Sword Coast Legends as well, though it's not turn based. I want to try my hand at being the dungeon master.
Well before release I think they referred to DC as a "racing platform", and their continuing great support seems to back that up. Their season pass was definitely a worthy purchase.
What would be the point of having another exclusive sim racer franchise?
60fps would be fine for the next installment, if there is one since they seem to still be working on content for this one, but 30fps certainly isn't the game breaker some people make it out to be.
I'm not far into Daylight but I'd say Outlast is better. Still, I think Daylight is less than $4 right now for PS+ members so I'm happy with it.
Yeah I wish Soma was on sale too. I may pick it up anyway before Halloween.
Nah there have been great multiplayer only games before.
Outlast and Daylight, along with other games, are on sale at the moment on PSN. Just a head's up.

It's free, see? Myah.
The justification they want is only found at the bottom line, money made, not a random comment in a random thread.
They can only do what the market will bear. If the market bears something you don't like, tough break but stop crying about it.
Kiwi - We all buy something that someone else thinks is a waste of money. Your "problem" is capitalism and the free market at work. Good luck beating your head against that wall.
Ahhh, more of this "If you don't agree with me you aren't a true gamer" bs.
Vomit.
Buy what you want. Skip what you want. If other people buy what you don't want, try not to have a stroke.
"I heard from someone who's inside…"
Inside your head I guess, but wherever that voice is coming from you should ignore it.
@etownone - "XBOX 1 exclusive lineup this holiday season crushes the competition."
You look at XB1's exclusive lineup and see must haves. Others look at it and see nothing or little that interests them. No fanboy goggles, just honest preferences. The same goes for PS4, but that's why PS4's variety is important. No game is for everyone but more games means more choice and more chance to appeal to each gamer.
"Are people just ignorant of the facts or is it that brand loyalty continues to blind them?"
Both, I'd say. Not sure which is more common.
OT - Worldwide, PS4 without a doubt. In the US it could go either way. MS likes the seasonal exclusives approach and many of their fans apparently do too for some reason, but PS4 still has more games to play, more high reviewed games, and will be enjoying the same advantage 360 had last generation which is pe...
"Not if they use DX12 or cloud processing"
*feels life force draining*
OT - Still very interested in this game. Just hoping they don't screw it up.
