Makes sense..
Sony makes expensive "Top of the range" products in nearly all markets they are in.
In the economic downturn, people will be very unlikely to go for these "Top of the range" products during this time - so why would sony continue making the stuff that isn't going to sell, it would just be them wasting money in production costs.
Once we're out of this mess we're in with the economy and sales pick up again, they'll reconnec...
Exclusive means it can only be found on one platform. Both the 360 and PC are gaming platforms.
I get most, if not all these so called exclusive games on 360 anyway, but excluding the PC is stupid and ignorant - so i'm not sat here saying that i will be buying these games on PC anyway, like some of the sony fanboys on here.
Honestly, the fact is - you don't have to buy a 360 to play some of those games - which means the game isn't exclusive.
The same ca...
So is it just me who thinks there is similarities between the image for this game and MGS4's US cover art? :p
Yeah, the shooting mechanics were different, fixed camera, slightly different movement.
Oh and stealth isn't optional like it is in MGS4. In MGS, 2 and 3 getting caught is the last thing you want to do, you can't simply shoot your way out of it like you can in MGS4.
Though, i still played MGS4 like the old MGS games, if i got caught - i would do what i did in the older games, try and knock out the first enemy then run off and hide again.
Please come to the EU store!
My copy of the original MGS doesn't work anymore.. so i really want this.
"We've also been told this morning that the game may not sufficiently advanced enough for an E3 reveal."
But that footage was from late 2007.. surely they're futher on now..
Never been a huge splinter cell fan, but i'll shove this on pre order if what this guy says is correct :p
Heh, i've never understood the attraction to vechiles in FPS games. The only FPS game i thought worked well with vechiles was unreal tournament.
I don't think vechiles would work well in killzone 2.
The game still has plenty of people playing, it has found its core audience like every game has.. and they have been sticking around.
I'm one of them, the multiplayer doesn't need fixing.
They look.. amazing :o
They're both different games, shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.
SL1M, i guess that is becuase sony knows that the hardcore audience is a good one, and infact the casual isn't as big as everyone makes it out to be.
Sure, they'll sell a crap load of hardware and one or two games, but with the hardcore audience, they know they'll buy a good amount of systems and will always be buying loads of games - which is where they make their money.
So yeah, sony is just using their past experience, knowing that the hardcore is a good audience ...
Is this a joke? :|
Microsoft and Sony battle for regional exclusivity on crappy games!
They couldn't really do that with full retail games, games like MGS4, over 30gb, LittleBigPlanet, Up to 40gb - apparently, resistance 2 - around 25gb.
By the time you have downloaded those games, your rental time would of ran out :p
I just think they're taking their time, just like sony are doing with GT5.
Final fantasy is square's biggest franchise, as GT is sony's biggest franchise - they want to take their time to make sure they get it right.
GiantEnemyCrab, well terminator is a rare example. There have been quite a few games using the PS3 as a lead platform that have been great on both the PS3 and 360 with hardly any differences.
Don't worry, they have said a few times - if they decide to do a console version or when they do a console version, both a PS3 version and 360 version will be done..
I'm not sure where this thing about it being xbox exclusive came from, unless i just missed the news.
<3 sarcastic gamer's parody videos :p
Honestly.. what has the PS3 got to do with this?
