I wouldn't buy a slim straight away, nothing against sony or anyone infact, it would be the same with any company.
When you're slimming down on something that big, there will be mistakes in the first revision - it won't be the most reliable - a few revisions later and i'll be ready to buy it :)
I don't know why any sony fanboy would say that.. that would make every PS3 exclusive apart from littlebigplanet a flop.
Even so, you're basing your whole judgement on this site alone? I don't expect it to get metal gear or littlebigplanet scores, but going off the demo - i'd expect low 9's - high 8's.

I hope they really add to the multiplayer, CoD4 MP was great but i got bored with it by FEB 2008, after getting it on release back in november 2007.

Respect++ EA.. everyone assumed after it didn't do so well that you would drop it.
I have the demo, i have played through it around 6 times now (only got it today) which is a good few hours.
I was expecting it to be good, but i didn't expect to like it this much. Everything just feels so right, nothing feels forced, everything just flows really well.
My only complaint, which isn't much of a complaint at all because the game does fine without it - but i would of loved to be able to charge that power to make it more powerful, don't know the name but ...
Why hasn't anyone learned yet?
Nintendo has created their own market in the industry, stop trying to do the same stuff on their system - look at the audience and then *maybe* you will get it.
I'm a massive metal gear fan, infact it is my favourite game series. But i do like splinter cell too, i just don't think they should be compared.
They both have different aims in what they are trying to be.
