This is wrong. I just logged into my 360, loaded up sky player only for them to ask me to upgrade to Gold membership to use it. So it has not been released to "ALL USERS" at all.
I won't be upgrading to gold for this because i can use sky player just as easily on my PC or just use my sky boxfor the proper experience.. :\
Good job Microsoft, take an otherwise great feature that we already pay for with our sky subscription and make us pay for it.

Actually, the whole ranting about the PS3 actually started with him ranting about microsoft and the xbox 360!
He was talking about Microsoft not trying to help software developers in both windows and xbox 360, then went on to Sony and going with the cell and them not helping developers either.
So i wouldn't say Gabe just blindly hates on the PS3, because he has his reasons that he has applied to everyone who is involved.
I'm a complete valve fanboy, but i agree with what he has been saying (90% of it).
They didn't handle it properly, they were being childish in the comments they made about why they were not making PS3 games. Though.. he talks about not liking steam and them in the deal with EA.. but borderlands is on steam.. :p

Yeah, my live subscription just expired and don't want to renew it. So i'll be buying it for the PS3, would of bought it for the PC but after what they have been doing to it - i don't want to let them know what they did was alright - so i won't be buying it on PC.

Console gamers don't give Gabe newell and Valve enough credit for what they do and what they have done. Its a shame, because they deserve it.

There is no excuse for putting out such poor ports this late into the PS3's life cycle. Many, many other developers have got it right now.
Seriously, if you can't develop for all platforms properly, then simply don't. Putting out such poor ports is an insult to your customers.

I'm sorry, but it does not. I pay my sky subcription and part of that is for sky player that i use on sky.com, the one on the xbox is pretty much the same as that - so why am i having to pay for a XBL membership to use something i'm already buying.

Everyone who wanted a wii now has wii, and thanks to the PS3 and 360 price cuts.. people are looking towards them.
The wii was great for the games industry, it was a gateway drug for many soon to be gamers who now want a 360 or PS3.
