Are you saying they have only sold 100m consoles in 16 years? Because that is far from true.
The playstation sold 100m, the Playstation 2 sold 140m. 240million already without counting the PSP and PS3.
This isn't ragging on anyone else, but looking at the extreme success of Sony and the Playstation brand.

Gamers are also too negative these days. If you're looking forward to a game, you're overhyping it, if that game is exclusive, you're a fanboy.
You must have negative outlooks on these games, especially unproven ones, you're not allowed to have faith that a game will be good. I know the usual response is "If you don't build up expectations and the game doesn't turn out too great, then you won't be too disappointed".

Gears is great!
But if you're going to rip off a game, then at least do it well. Quantum just looks so cheap and budget, which is the opposite of gears.
Because this going back to what was good. They're not trying to go in new directions to re-invent it.

Ahaha yeah, its so funny the things people complain about on the differences between console games. If you lot really cared about that sort of stuff, you would all be PC gaming.
That is where you see REAL differences, some of them are night and day.
Can n4g apply some sort of filter that automatically rejects submissions that have the words *Top* and *Reasons* in the title?
Its true, people are more interested in stats now. That was one of the main complaints about killzone 2, "There are not many ranks, i need more ranks to play" etc.
But the core gameplay is my favourite of the current online FPS games, that is why it is my favourite.
Overall sales? Probably not, Battlefield isn't that well recognised within the mainstream (console) audience. It'll do well on PC, and scores? Its possible, maybe not in terms of the console versions (MW2 @ 94/100 AVG) but for the PC version it probably will (MW2 @ 86/100 AVG).
I'm two of those 2 million with two 5850's.

Um, i'm not at all. You clearly didn't actually read what i said.

Really? MMO's, yeah, but FPS - it is a strong point of the PC, but i don't think there is as much of a focus on it anymore. Casual? What?
I'd say the PC seems to start to specialise in the strategy games, and probably will do until the consoles have another control method that is suited towards that. Same with some of the RPG's, we'll see Diablo 3 absolutely shine on the PC, and even the RPG's w...
3D is possible on the Xbox 360, just not the standard that was approved by the BDA, which will be used on blu-ray's and PS3 games.
