if it wasn't for microsofts stupid point system, i have 700 points - the map pack is 800 - i have to buy another 400 just to be able to get it.

There will be many people who do buy some of this stuff and it will be those people that fund the development of the PSN and keep them bringing us free services.
They can't keep giving us stuff for free, we know they're not profiting much on the PS3 yet so the money has to come from somewhere.
Give 'em a break, they've made their mistakes and now they're paying for them - lets not kick them while their down and instead help them back up.

We know games now matter little in a consoles success, look at the dreamcast - that had all the best games while the PS2 had nothing for the first two years or so but that still failed.
No real reason, just i prefer to play the games on it.

Sony have been around since the late 1940's, they've most likely seen worse.
Microsoft have been around since 1975 and they definatly have seen worse, anyone remember when microsoft were supposedly facing bankruptcy?

I got like 5 disagree's on my post the other day saying that this week it'll be all negative sony news, next week it'll be all "Can microsoft survive next year?" type posts.
This site is just so predictable, infact the media is just so predictable.
When the PS3 got higher total sales last year everyone was using the "No good games" excuse.
Now when it has good games it is "Oh it isn't selling as well as it should be".
Oh and austere, i won't say the lineup was terrible, but it was pretty bad imo with fable 2 the only game that i really enjoyed.

Just look back over the weeks of news, that is generally how it goes.
You don't know how stupid that sounds, i've played the beta and i really couldn't find any similarites.
If you're going to call something a halo rip-off, call it resistance 2 because there is more similarities in that.
Last week it was "The Xbox 360 will die next year as it has nothing to compete with the big name playstation franchises?"
This week it is "The ps3 is completely dead, here is why... blah blah"
Next week it'll be back onto the xbox, the week after the ps3.
However, i don't think it is as good as it could be - it still can get very annoying at times, it is generally better than gears 1 but i still think they could teak it more.

Media molecule said LittleBigPlanet takes up to 40gb space on the blu-ray, we know MGS4 takes up a fair bit, uncharted - maybe.
But it is alot better now, the matchmaking still is a little slow and i have ran into a few matches that were total lagfests.
