Sony, microsoft and nintendo have all advertised multiplatform games before... i don't get what is so strange about that.
I really doubt MGS4 will go multiplatform though (On the next gen consoles, we know its heading to the iphone) - sony most likely paid for MGS4 exclusivity but had a contract with konami to not release that publically.

But most of us just turned off haze straight away after playing the demo, we've played the beta and love it.
Combined into one, i'm in heaven.
Microsoft used the CD did they not? Sony developed that.
Microsoft USE the DVD do they not? Sony co-developed that.
It has nothing to do with the rivalry, just the fact microsoft obviously don't think it is needed at the moment, their sales back up that statement.
PS3 software sales sure outweigh that of PS3 and 360 game download sales.
The internet is not ready for DD yet, too many countries in the world are stuck on slow connections.
I'll definatly be making a good few MGS levels, it sounds we might get some of the actual soundtracks from the game? I mean since they are original for that game it must of been very easy to license.
Because we only get this type of article 50x a week.
People are focusing on the features of home, but the main point of home is to socialise - stop looking for the arcade games to play and stop being so antisocial.
I know there is alot of stuff missing from what sony promised but lets hoped that'll come soon.
MGS4. Fair enough if they didn't like it, but there isn't a single mainstream reviewer i know that does not recognize its one of the best games this year.
Sony, they decided to take the leap to push the industry to the next level and they end up being hurt.
Kind of the same for microsoft, they're putting alot of effort in just to get punished by the wii who is sitting back in his armchair while people knock on his door just throwing money at him for being lazy.
In my opinion. :)
If they had got it on the PSN EU Store
"Blu-ray - I'm happy to see that Blu-ray players have come down in price... but the media has not, and there's no way I'm paying $25 to watch Step Brothers. Plus the technology is still, bafflingly, dog-slow. "
Um, how many times do we have to say this? Blu-ray has a much higher data transfer rate than DVD so a faster drive IS NOT NEEDED!
Microsoft take a higher royalty on each game sold, that coupled with the fact the 360 has a piracy problem is meaning they loose out on the 360 version?
Famitus gave haze a 32/40 - i think we can safely ignore their reviews :)
Because they were with lionhead first, were they not?
the site sourced in this article, i know we see alot of negative ps3 articles on this site, N4G.
Having both is better than having just one :)
But wait, i submit a news item that is related to the PS3 but it gets reported for "not being gaming news" but this gets through?
This is less relevant imo, but i suppose thats what you have to expect on a community driven news site.
