Nah seriously though, it is a great platform - just a shame development died on it, lets hope sonys "2009 is the year of the psp" claim has substance.
They were pushing the PS2 hardware as far as they could push it, they didn't have time to sort out all the performance issues due to sony rushing them and having a much smaller budget.
Sony learned from their mistakes, gave them plenty of time, gave them a huge budget - one of sonys biggest budget games ever infact.
Killzone 1 was a good game at core, just the performance issues were very annoying and what they wanted to achieve could not be done on the PS2.

Not a huge fan of halo or RTS games and i don't have the 360 version of GTA4, so i know what i'll be going for :)

These are just off the _ONLINE_ beta, and people with review code have said that they have improved so much, it is like comparing the pre-alpha code to the final code...
I think it was about time sony came out and replied without the silly comments, just a nice chart that had accurate prices on for all 3 systems.
Knowing sonys advertising department, we'll just see something along the lines of some old woman walking her dog down a dark street, stopping to face the camera and grinning.
The only relevance that the ad will have is that if you look carefully, you'll notice the killzone 2 logo being reflected in some a window.
Will always be a highlight for me.
Being a metal gear fanboy in and out, every metal gear solid release is a highlight.
I'm not embarrased to say it, its just that on this site they don't take into consideration the situation these consoles are in when they look at the sales numbers.
All i'm saying is that given the situation the 360 is in over in japan, it did pretty well.
But it wasn't really just the controls, just feels like another action game to me now.
I have not enjoyed a resident evil game since Code: Veronica.
Then it would be most likely on PS3, like all my multiplatform games but i more than likely won't be getting it.
Why? Because it controls mostly like RE4 - where some people like that, i hated it.
But that is actually good numbers for 360 in japan, microsoft - your efforts have not fallen on deaf ears.
And you still can and will be able to play PS3 games on it? What is the problem?
I've played through all the metal gear solid games in the main series at least 15 times each, i'm bound to notice things like that :P

Judging by the guys skill (or lack of) and how many bullets he is taking he is playing it on an even easier mode than they are in the OP's video.
I've heard nothing but good things about the AI, saying how they'll all take different tactics to take you.
Either it is some glitch in the AI or the normal difficulty is very easy?
Even microsoft advertised blu-ray slightly in their CES conference yesterday.
Microsoft and sony work together all the time, they have done for decades. The only rivalry between the two is Xbox vs Playstation.
The next halo will most likely own killzone 2 in sales, but that doesn't make it a better game :)
I've had this copy of halo 3 since launch, still can't bring myself to complete it - was tryin again today :(
