Why does it suck?
I've got star ocean for 360 pre ordered on lovefilm (as in, they'll send it me for rental when it comes out)
I don't want to buy it because if they ever do bother with a PS3 port then, with sonys policy of "It must have some sort of improvements" which usually is extra content then i know i'd want to buy that one instead.
It won't be released as a game, so most likely won't even get put on metacritic.

The original xbox wasn't in first place, beating the PS2 was it? Did that stop xbox owners enjoying their console? No it didn't.
The gamecube was also behind, that didn't stop gamecube owners from enjoying their console will it?
Its like, if sony continue being sony (apart from the stupid service we get from SCEE) then the PS3 will more than likely remain my favourite this gen, but if sony do (Which they more than 99% wont) drop the PS3 then i have my 360 to fall bac...

But apple's products are "fasionable" sonys are not, i mean they can make some pretty nice looking stuff for some reason doesn't have the same appeal.

The only people that know about killzone 2 are the hardcore too, not to mention the bad reputation the first game got so that will make some people hesistant to buy it, those who have not seen much of the game.
But the PS3 is slightly cheaper over there anyway, compared to the rest of the world.

I guess xbox isn't as seperate as playstation is to sony.
Sony have lots of other divisions in their business, microsoft don't so it really isn't surprising.
Sony don't make their games a "must-own" they have the quality but they don't sell them to the gamers properly.
What he says does have some truth in it though.
The playstation brand is stronger than the xbox one and has a larger market share, even if the PS3 on its own isn't bigger than the 360.
