No its not old.
It hasn't been out in any regions that are under SCEE, Europe, austrailia, others etc till yesterday.
I'm not complaining when i say this. But this free DLC is probably just a smart marketing plan that they're trying out. Butter us up with all this free DLC so that we wouldn't feel cheated when they bring out DLC we have to pay for.
Its a great plan if you ask me, for both gamers and the devs.
My killzone 2? Who says i would even buy it? Who says i even have a PS3?
Am i not allowed to be a fan of the 360 and say bad things about microsoft?
Did i say anything about games?
I'm just saying that the money could of better gone into development of first party support.
I said nothing about how many games the 360 has now or are coming.
Do you not have anything better to do than jump into defend consoles at the slightest wiff of negativity?
Cheers Nintendo.
That $50m could of been put towards their lacking first party support.
I'd give it a try, but since i only own the PS3 version of GTA4 i don't think buying another copy for my 360 would be worth it. Maybe during the summer when there are no games coming out i'll go pick up the 360 version and get the DLC. I actually enjoyed GTAIV.
Lets wait till they release Q4 08 numbers, for both microsoft and sony before we start getting serious!
They've been working on this game probably longer than even CoD4 was in development for, i doubt CoD4 inspired it. There has been so many systems like this in games before CoD4, games that done it better, too.
They've been play-testing the online modes for nearly 4 years.
i blame sony for not telling anyone about these games. Only a small percentage of gamers are on these sites every day learning about the gams.
Sony could just get a lead of 100 consoles, worldwide then bring out a new console straight away - does that mean the PS3 won even if the very next day, the xbox 360 sold 100,000 taking that lead?
No it doesn't. If sony sell more PS3's than 360's by the time they discountinue it, then they have beat the 360 in that console war.
There were still more games, better games in the same two years of the PS2.
"In Case it Wasn't Obvious, Nintendo and Sony Have Switched Places"
Negative.
Why? Sony actually had a big library of good games.

That is in two weeks.
Can't be far off that amount, companies ship on demand. And with konami posting stats of "Metal Gear" selling 4.33 units, i can't see the other metal gear games being a big portion of that since there was non that came out in that quarter iirc.
The cutscene complaints and the heavy story telling complaints are silly in my opinion.
They were calling MGS1 an interactive movie, they were calling MGS2 an interactive movie, they were calling MGS3 an interactive movie. It is what the series is about, merging two of the biggest forms of entertainment together.
The story development in MGS is just as important as the gameplay imo, i know it may sound silly but there is not one single series game that i love as much...
Neither of them games are PHOTOREALISTIC, yes they look insanely good but photorealisim, in my opinion goes to GT5:P
http://a.imagehost.org/0182...
However, i'm not saying it looks the best - just for photorealism, i think that goes to GT5, at least in terms of the cars.
Art style, however i think goes to MGS4.
I played through MGS2 again last week and the graphics still are amazing.
I think MGS4 > all the rest in terms of gameplay and acessibility (Even though it was sad to see that there were more parts that required more shooting than sneaking, but you could sneak your way through the entire game if you wanted to.
(which i, for the first few hours thought i HAD to due to the older games being like they were when you were caught)
It would be hard for me to...
EA will attempt to buy out of any exclusive contracts that bioware *may* have with microsoft, if they can't then they will attempt timed exclusivity. There is very, very little chance that EA will let it stay 100% exclusive.
I didn't like the first one though, so i won't be buying it on either console :P
The only face off it would win is in sales ^^
Though my wii was useful at keeping my PS3 and 360 on the edge of my desk.
I'm not that interested in the halo universe, but something claiming to have the RTS on a console working well, i'll have to give it at rent.
