"So your comment is an intentionally gross, inaccurate generalization, and have the nerve to question someone else's maturity?"
While I don't agree with his use of "Microsoft and Sony," being able to look at ultra popular M rated dudebro games like Gears of War, Bulletstorm and Call of Duty and saying "I've outgrown this" is completely appropriate.
"What's the difference between what you're doing, and oth...
I don't agree with much of the comment, but this is the part I appreciate.
"That doesn't mean I have to justify the consoles I do purchase, and it certainly doesn't mean I have any less respect for Nintendo fans as gamers themselves."
In a community running rampant with people insulting each other over the trivial matter of liking different things, it's nice to see SOMEONE come to one of these articles with something subjective but r...
I wouldn't mind a Sunshine throwback stage that allows use of FLUDD either. Heck, any throwback stages that take inspiration from any of Mario's previous 3D ventures would be welcome in my back.

So... wait, you've outgrown quality games?
@Beastforlifenoob
Well bless me bagpipes, clearly your research is irrefutable. /s
Okay, so what about Shin'en, a dev that has actually successfully made games on Wii U that cannot run on the 360/PS3 while only using one of the console's three cores?
Or how about Crytek's new engine running on the Wii U, Xbox One and PS4 and not on the 360/PS3? And why did Criterion's port of Need For Speed look so much better on Wii U than on...
@TheGrimReaper
It SHOULD be a given. The problem is a lot of Wii U's earliest titles looked on par to the 360, if not just slightly under par. This has given it a reputation as being only just as strong, despite developer praise that has stated otherwise; I point directly at indies and Shin'en in particular.
There are commenters on here who believe tooth and nail, without a shadow of a doubt, in SPITE of Criterion's port of Need for Speed and Cryt...
@LOL_WUT
Don't even try to pull that crap when just a couple of weeks ago you were insisting the Wii U cannot produce anything above the 360's capabilities. I'm tired of this. You can't go "Wii U is weaker/on par to 360" one post and then go "Of course it's superior to 360" another.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to say inb4 disagrees that defend this blatant hypocrisy.
I find this confusing. You typed this because Watchdogs on Wii U is superior to 360/PS3? Or are you typing this because it happens to be about Wii U?
As a matter of fact I did. There is still no price tag. Until then, I am not going to tolerate any "dead on arrival" rhetoric. Especially when there are multiple SKUs for this hardware in particular.
There is more than one SKU with different price tags. Food for thought.
Already a doom article. N4G, everybody. We don't have price tags yet! How can a question like that even pass through your keystrokes?
New? Minus the color of his fur it's practically the same design as his Brawl look.
I wouldn't call it worthless so much as underwhelming. It does some nice things and playing with the Gamepad screen is a step forward. Could have been better for sure, though.
@LOL_WUT
So you're alright bashing the Wii U for old third party ports and a Zelda remake, but a port of a half year old 3DS game is A-okay with you?
"-Mika-"
I stopped reading there.
So in other words I'm correct, it's just as possible. In other words, don't write off the sales of this game. Especially since no one has taken digital sales or the bundles into account.
Frankly I don't care how many disagrees I get. My logic is a hell of a lot more sound than your speculation.
@ShinMaster
Majora's Mask was also on the N64 which had less than half of the Wii's install base and that sold about as much a...
Refusing to acknowledge that no one has even talked about the digital release of the game which preceded the physical release by a solid two weeks and could have potentially taken a sizable chunk of the sales.
If you can say or provide any links that prove otherwise, I will gladly welcome a rebuttal.
I thought the Wii U had no games. /s
The thing I like about this article is that essentially a lot of gamers' issues with hardware would be alleviated if people would just shut up and wait for the games to come out and THEN judge them.
This dev says this about PS4, then that one says another thing about Xbox One. As someone who is interested in a PS4 and only a little interested in Xbox One, everyone needs to STFU and wait for the games to come out rather than clamor to any dev that said something they like ...
