Gonna have to go with Mario on this one, and not just because I like Nintendo.
For one thing, Mario has not suffered a decade of subpar and outright BAD games the way Sonic has. Only NOW are we getting some decent Sonic games again. About three years ago and back it was a different story for a better portion of the decade.
I've noticed with Nintendo they don't seem to like to talk about any game that isn't within months of release (unless it's among the bigger first party names). We'll probably get a lot more information come summer 2014 at the latest. My guess is we'll get new smorgasbord in January, same as last year.
I got the new Twisted Metal. I think that game is pretty friggin' good. Satisfied?
If they needed an "older Snake" so badly, they could have just as easily used Richard Doyle. I agree. Sutherland is playing Jack Bauer and they're calling him Snake.
Among the other issues I have with Quiet, the setting and the regenerating health, one has to wonder what else there is to suggest that Kojima is losing his damn mind.
Hehe, I've seen quite a few of these already. Some of them are freaking awesome.
Ouch dude. Hit me right in the heart, you did.
You mean EA? Or Capcom?
@Wni0
Untrue. There's still Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros. and Monolith games.
Oh, and no online passes or day-one DLC locked away on the disc.
What is he, Nintendo's spokesperson? Just because he loves Zelda doesn't mean he loves EVERYTHING Nintendo does. And on top of that he is a film actor and standup comic. It's not exactly like games are everywhere he goes, so he probably doesn't even follow them as much as the average joe.
"Betrayed Nintendo." Pfft. He hasn't betrayed anyone. He's being human by expressing an opinion.
That wouldn't change the PS4 specs you know. PC tech is constantly evolving with new upgrades releasing each year. The PS4 is deadlocked in its current state as of its launch. So at one point or another, PCs will have better specs and therefor the potential for better games.
However, Naughty Dog is an excellent dev. They'll make some damn great looking games; PC specs be damned.
That's actually kind of sad when you think about it. The first Zelda is Miyamoto's baby. The story is based on stories from playing outdoors during his childhood. Now he's so cool letting someone else be at the helm.
Knowing the creative capabilities of these two guys, that's pretty incredible.
@OldGirl
It doesn't change the fact that he was being berated for something that was inaccurate. Sheesh. Excuse me for pointing that out.
You heard it here folks, only on N4G can someone be asinine enough to call you a fanboy for pointing out an inaccurate statement.
@D_RoyJenkins
Um. No... his username doesn't indicate any sort of bias. If anything it would indicate he's just been gaming for a very long time.
A remake of a game from Nintendo's slowest selling console could prove to be quite helpful to Wii U, especially with the limited edition bundles. But I wouldn't call it one of the heaviest hitters. I imagine Mario making a bigger impact since that one is technically a newer game.
Either way, aww. :D
I was gonna say, has Steam ever even been considered direct competition for any of the three main consoles? I always thought it was meant to be a quality option for the PC crowd.
Heck, I'M a console gamer primarily and I play a lot of games through Steam.
Could be worse. Still gettin' it.
DAMN RIGHT!!
Sonic Unleashed was also on Wii and that version was more well received and sold better on that platform from what I understand. Keep in mind Sonic appeals to kids as well as teens.
And you like what you like because you're a fanboy. Don't forget that genius argument. /s
@LetoAtreides82
How?
@MasterCornholio
If the Wii U can handle Blops 2 and Assassin's Creed III's multiplayer without any issues, then it's more than capable of handling this game's online considering it's not even a PS4/Xbox One game. So don't make this a power issue.
