It could have the same exact levels from the first game. As long as they have online co-op in this one, I will buy this day one.
The four player co-op in the first game was just that fun.
@feraldrgn
I guess at that point, the difference between you and these guys is they've played it and know what they're talking about.
But why bother to try something, right?
This article is 100% crap. Based on those screencaps of people saying what the CPU is. The CPU is made by IBM is POWER7 based. This is CONFIRMED.
http://gimmegimmegames.com/...
When you try to spout some crap rumor, at least be clever and try not to make it conflict with official information.
This was technically "confirmed" eons ago. You could read it on Nintendo's website as well as Wikipedia.
Inb4 Wikipedia is a bad resource. The Wii U article there is loaded with official information and source articles, including the bit involving the Wii U's CPU.
@ozzywazzy
Not to people who know better. I'm not speaking of the casual consumer who doesn't look into what they're buying. I'm speaking of the individuals who visit this community; core gamers who want to know their gaming platforms inside and out.
In that regard, aesthetics don't really matter.
Stop the presses! Mika here has found the number one reason not to buy a Wii U.
Seriously though, does it really matter how it looks? I thought the games were what mattered.
So the next time a positive hands-on preview gets approved for this site, exactly where are you guys going to be?
Oh right, ignoring it as usual.
That goes both ways son. I could say that Nintendo saved the game industry with the NES and someone on this website will find a reason to chew me out for it.
Honest question. If it's not fair for you to be called a "doubter/hater" for criticizing Nintendo or their consoles, then what exactly makes it fair for anyone defending either to be called a "Nintendrone/fanboy" ?
Are you two idiots?
@Xperia_ion
Providing a system with lower specs is obviously a massive risk considering how anal gamers are about graphics these days.
EDIT: Notice how casual gamers (the folks who bought Carnival Games) and core gamers (the folks who bought Zelda and Xenoblade) both came to the console while there was just as much of a chance that neither side would have taken interest.
@Skateboard
Why? B...
Because the original Wii was not a massive risk in and of itself. /sarcasm
I can't speak for anyone but myself. And I politely disagree. Mario is the face of gaming like how Mickey Mouse is the face of traditional animation. I see no reason why Mario should go away unless people (and I mean a LOT of people) truly don't want Mario games anymore.
I *think* they'll take both. You'll get at least a hundred dollars in credit off of the 3DS. I'm not sure if they still take DS Lite.
Why sell the DS Lite though? That one can still play GBA games.
Yeah, they let you do the system transfer right there. Just have a soda or something in hand. The transfer itself takes a little while.
Well, we won't really know until both the Wii U and PS3/Vita combo are in full swing on the retail shelves at the same time.
Oy. Oh well, we've waited this long.
Hopefully we'll get some friggin' long overdue announcements before then.
It sounds more to me like you have an issue with DLC in general. In which case, whatever floats your boat. DLC is supposed to be an optional means to expand your game for a small price, not unlike an expansion pack.
This type of DLC is meant to be compatible with all forms of the game. That means that if I download new character A, I'd still be able to play with anyone who has not downloaded said character. How this can be seen as a bad thing for any reason is beyond me. ...
Yeah, but not all of those games find success for one reason or another. And the difference between Halo and Mario is that 1) Mario is a familiar franchise as well as enjoyed by kids and adults alike and 2) more people probably recognize Mario's face and theme song than Master Chief's face and the Halo anthem.
I love how nearly all the Mario games you actually listed yourself play completely differently from each other.
Okay, don't be ridiculous. Miyamoto stated the Wii could not do four player co-op on that game due to its lack of power. That would not be an excuse on the Wii U, last I checked.
You know what I think is sad? That you hardly ever have anything positive to say about any of these articles that you comment on.
