Price drop on the system and its memory cards and some games that I can't already buy on the PS3. That'll do it for me.
@Mika
This is why people accuse you of being a troll. The Wii U is capable of running games at 1080p. Toki Tori 2 is already confirmed to be running at that resolution.
Nintendo said that games at launch would be 720p and that later titles would be made in 1080p. You honestly expected a port of a half a year old game that's being handled by a developer not even remotely associated with Mass Effect 3 to suddenly be rendered in a resolution it was not devel...
Technically the Wii and 3DS games already do that.
Except for Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing and Epic Mickey.
Nothing for it... that's a laugh. Please give us another.
Eh, I disagree. I played the game on the 360 and enjoyed it. I didn't love it and it wasn't all that memorable, but it was fun, to say the least.
The only gripe I had is that my 360 controller sucked so I tended to move whenever I was in cover when I did not want to. The multiplayer was awesome too. I don't see why everyone complained about it.
Nice try pal. But I am very capable of being critical of Nintendo. Among my friends, no one was more angry at them than I was during 2007 and '08 when their E3s did nothing but showcase casual games. At least since then they try to play the middle man and showcase casual AND core games.
I was also particularly upset when Nintendo refused to make a deal with Microsoft so that Rare games could be put on the Virtual Console and XBLA.
In fact, I'd probabl...
Gaymercon openly invites straight gamers as well.
Don't be so smug. Were this news true like Nintendo Power said, you wouldn't even have a comment to leave.
Ignore the disagrees. Some of the people on this site are too stupid for words.
You list new IPs when people are ignorantly demanding them and they pretend like you're spouting rubbish.
And here come all the trolls.
The news is disappointing, but then it falls in line with a previous rumor that EA's support of this console will be nothing short of half-assed.
@Sgt_Slaughter
Iwata and Fils-Aime have both said it would be priced differently from the Wii.
Wii U. If you're going to make a crappy joke at least spell it properly.
We're already separated by categories. I thought it was obvious that equality is proven through equal opportunity.
Your argument doesn't work because no one is being barred from attending Gaymercon as far as I know. If they specifically said gay gamers only, then yes, I'd be just as perplexed as anyone else.
But that isn't the case. Providing a safe environment for many people is not the same as segregation. Yes, it is specifically targeted to...
Opinion, actually.
EDIT: No, it's called an opinion. It's laughable that you can't see the difference.
Jeez, I can't believe the amount of agrees the first comment received... this community is so screwed it's not even funny. It's hardly a surprise this website has such a rotten reputation on the internet.
How is this about separation? They OPENLY INVITE straight gamers to attend as well. How are gay gamers a waste of time? How are girl gamers a waste of time? Who are the idiots who agreed with Carl_Shocker's comment?
To heck with it. I honestl...
Any gamer who is only interested in graphics should just convert completely to PC gaming. I hardly feel that way about games. I love consoles and I only occasionally invest in PC games that are on Steam and it's usually because they're cheap, not because I expect them to look better.
Your statement about consoles being solely about software is dead on. When you buy a console, it's instantly obsolete. A PC can (and probably should) be upgraded.
The...
The feature I like best in particular is playing games on the controller screen. That's something I could have used back when I was a kid and I shared my TV with the folks.
As for today, being able to just lay down and play a game like a handheld is brilliant in my opinion. The Wii U also has access to Netflix, YouTube and whatnot. As someone who really enjoys Nintendo games, this is a brilliant console for me.
As for the masses, well who knows. Perhaps s...
@Morrigan-Aensland and -Mika-
Translation: Michael Pachter is only right when he's knocking Nintendo.
Exactly when did this moron mix up Sonic with Mario?
Mario Kart 7, just to name an example, had 32 tracks, half of which were brand new and the other half were classic levels spanning the entire series which were revamped to support some of the newer features in the game.
I wouldn't call that "one added track."
