Because the Dreamcast is considered "last gen" during its time, right?
@MelonSaurus
Exactly how is a franchise dying when its sales haven't gone down? Your opinion that a franchise has gone stale does not mean that franchise is dying or ever will die.
To be fair, there is at least a new power up or two, and with any luck this new one will have online co-op. A feature like that is enough for me.
What does your question have to do with Ghost Recon? Of course Nintendo has their online network ready. Why are they getting games that have online multiplayer like Tekken and Mass Effect 3?
I couldn't recommend Muramasa enough. That game is friggin' brilliant. Though I must say, I haven't heard of some of these. I'll definitely have to look into them.
Some of these comments are really weird to me. So it's bad if it's on a Nintendo platform but good if on Sony?
Here's a crazy idea... why not both?
Depends on where they sell best and there's no guarantee a port will sell well on a platform that's struggling.
If there was a Monster Hunter that was exclusive to Vita however, that would probably be very beneficial.
@showtimefolks
Your two bubbles are well deserved. By the way, you may want to actually read the article.
You thought he was being serious? Jeez.
@SkyGamer
Naturally. Blame the victim. Stay classy.
And anyone disagreeing with you is just as insane.
I don't generally shop at Fry's.
Yeah, but that's in line with expecting Capcom to do something good for a change.
For any Nintendo fan, it's a fantastic launch.
For everyone else, there's at least Rayman Legends, ZombiU and P-100. New Super Mario Bros. U if they have yet to play a NSMB game.
Not terrible as far as launches go. It's better than the Wii's and 3DS's at least.
Correction: Halo games, not franchises. Derp.
I'd say so. Gamers and the industry have a lot of hatred, especially toward each other.
A more positive aspect of it is whenever gamers would rise up against an outside entity, such as Jack Thompson or Fox News whenever one or both of those parties would attack games.
All in all, I think there's room for improvement in terms of what gamers get a rise out of, but it's not always a bad thing.
Exactly how do you figure all of this when neither the 720 nor the PS4 are even formally announced yet?
I wouldn't say it's too soon. The Halo franchises tended to have a three year gap between games as well. Halo came out in 2001, Halo 2 in 2004, 3 in 2007 and so on. Besides, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword were Zelda games in the same generation, so I reckon Nintendo would want to wait a while before releasing another Zelda on the same platform.
Not sure if this is true or not, but it certainly seems plausible. I'm one of those who really liked Skyward Sword, ...
That's very interesting. Nintendo's never done something like this before if memory serves me well. I look forward to seeing if this is real and what the bundles are if it is.
Not to be a negative nancy, but after Nuts & Bolts, I'm not sure I want anymore Rare sequels.
