Excellent design. It's tempting, but I'll stick with my current slim.
It's actually 8 meters, which translates to 24 feet pal.
@mynd
Honestly, I don't think it won't. The leap in this generation probably will not be that big. At worst it will be like comparing a PS2 to an Xbox 1. Costs of development are high enough and this economy can't take another massive leap.
Besides, the Wii U is confirmed to be stronger than current generation consoles. It has 2GB of RAM, four times the amount of what it's in the 360 and PS3. The GPU and CPU are also stronger. When we hear wha...
They have a perfectly good console manufactured. Why wait to release it? Wouldn't it display more confidence to release it now?
No video game console is worth paying over $400. I don't care how powerful the consoles are or what the games are like. I will never pay that much money for it. I simply can't afford it.
I waited years to get a PS3 at $350 with a copy of Metal Gear 4 and it completely worked out for me. I bought the 360 at launch for $400. Never would have gotten it were it anything higher.
This. They did a great job with Xenoblade on the Wii. I'm dying to see what they're working on now.
Slightly off topic, I also wish we could get a reveal on Retro Studios' next game...
It was announced eons ago that third parties were making Wii U headsets.

Yeah well at least Obama will entertain the idea. I reckon gay citizens will take indifference over opposition.
Besides, he made it clear during his first presidential campaign that it wasn't his decision to make so much as it was the states'. The issue was not as large at the time as it is now either.
Hey, you got your third bubble back. :) Congrats sir. Really thought it was lame you only had two for so long.
EDIT: Really...? Three disagrees for congratulating someone? So much for a friendly community I suppose.
Yeah screw this. They pulled the same BS with the original trailer. Like hell if I'm falling for it a second time.
@corrus
And anonymous devs said the Wii U was weaker than what is out right now and evidently it turned out to be completely false.
Besides, if the leap is as large as Remedy describes, don't expect them to be cheap. Not by a long shot.
It offers the most methods of control. I'm hoping for touch control aiming, like Metroid Prime Hunters.
@Ness-Psi
Well, they've kind of been shown off in HD for Nintendo Land. They don't look too badly there. In fact I'd argue that the style is better than the 360 Avatars.
*cough*Kid Icarus*cough*
Crystal ball much? You can't really make that assumption when neither console is even announced.
One could argue that the launch of the PS3 was a failure. It's not really the best console I've ever owned or used, but it is by no mean a bad or even unsuccessful piece of hardware.
As for the PSP, that one comes off as sort of a failed experiment. UMD movies and games, and then of course the PSP Go. Not bad, but not nearly as successful as the DS.
Romney's recent blunders in terms of flip-flopping and social issues doesn't help. Not to mention he clearly doesn't have the vote for gay rights advocates.
Then you'd be paying another $50 for the thing. And the hard drive would be proprietary and probably non-upgradeable.
@Pushagree
The Wii U has an achievement system. It's just not mandatory.
That's completely incorrect. I followed his campaign trail since before the primary. He never said that. He said he believed in civil unions but that he felt states should choose whether or not it should be legal.
