How's a format change innovative in terms of gameplay?
I can answer some of these myself, actually.
"Will the Wii U have achievements?"
Rumors suggest that they'll be called Accomplishments, but yes, Nintendo said they would have them. They just won't force it on developers to have them.
"What about the storage options? Are you stuck with 8 GB forever if you buy the Basic model?"
Reggie already came out and said that you can plug in any HDD you want. J...
How clueless. The amount of misinformation in this response of yours is astounding.
The next MS and Sony consoles aren't even announced yet. However I can tell you that the graphical leap you speak of is unheard of in this economy. It simply can't happen. Neither consumers nor manufacturers can afford it. It's naive to think this generation will see as big a leap as the last.
The Wii U has 2GB of RAM. For a gaming console with more than just the p...

What? Sega had a string of failures. All of the crap add-ons for the Genesis and the failure of the Sega Saturn and the Dreamcast. Sega's a company riddled with consistent bad ideas; that's why they fell out of the hardware race.
And Nintendo already had its "one big bad" decision. It's called the Virtual Boy.
As long as it runs well and is compatible with anyone's home cable or dish network, then I doubt it won't be seen as a viable, if not superior alternative. All that RAM's gotta go somewhere I reckon.
Wait... so this guy believes an HD console should not be purchased because the games are $10 more expensive?
Where the hell has he been for the past generation exactly?
Nah, Shok wasn't really rambling. His opinions are different from yours and you're calling it "damage control."
Typical honestly.
Replace "PS3 user" with "Sony fanboy" and the statement is more accurate. I own a PS3 and still intend to get a Wii U.
"Nintendo have far less 'innovation' if you can call that with Wii U."
Not entirely true. No one's ever brought classic game controls together with both motion control and touch control all at once. Bringing these concepts that were all separate but now are all together (and making it work well) is an innovation in and of itself.
"However all Wii U is, is a more expensive PS3 or 360 that isn't really differentiating itself very ...

Because some people disagree with his opinion? It's not like he stated a fact.
Well, well, well. Color me surprised. Something (sorta) new-ish for a Call of Duty game.
First the core games on the Wii U need to sell better than what core games were on the Wii. Then developers of games like GTA and other such mature games will be more open to the platform.
Online for the Wii U version eh? Guess I know which version I'm getting.
@MostJadedGamer
Wii had hardware droughts. Plenty of them. If the content on Wii U is more steady, then it probably won't be abandoned as easily.
That and I think an F-Zero and a Star Fox game would probably entice people.
Nintendo is not really a child entertainment company so much as family, meaning kids and adults. Look at the number of "T" and "M" games on Wii U.
Darksiders II, Ninja Gaiden, Assassin's Creed III, Aliens, Tekken, 007, ZombiU and Batman Arkham City, to name what I can think of off the top of my head. I'd say they're trying to appeal to a variety of markets as oppose to just one.
"A Fanboy calling other people fanboys...cute."
Yeah, a fanboy who owns the systems belonging to the competition. My PS3 currently gets more game time than my Wii yet I still count myself as a Nintendo fan. Is this suddenly a problem?
Actually no, that's not true. The ones I've "attacked" are trolls and those who are generally insulting or demeaning toward anyone who likes Nintendo. In fact, you only started getting on my case afte...
Indeed. How dare they do exactly what gamers asked of them? It's reprehensible!
Too many that get approved, that is.
It's only disappointing to fanboys, not to gamers. I'd probably be disappointed if No More Heroes 3 was exclusive to PS4. But I'm most certainly not going to attack Suda51's Twitter feed or threaten to boycott the game. That's being a crybaby.
Look, at first I was apprehensive toward everyone with this opinion, but this industry is tough. Nintendo fans caught a break and it just so happens that people who don't generally like Nintendo are disappointed....
"I think most of us speculated that this was coming."
Yeah, no kidding. I've only been commenting about this for a few weeks now.
