Yeah... like Carnival Games and Family Party.
Oh, and where's that Vita port of Resident Evil Revelations?
The Wii U's 2GB of RAM say otherwise. That and the PS3/Vita cross-play probably won't be massively supported.
Nintendo wasn't publishing it and helping Team Ninja with the development for one thing.
@NYC_Gamer
Free DLC? Don't bet on it. Microsoft doesn't even let Valve offer free DLC. Besides, Nintendo aided with the development of this version. Fat chance of it going multiplatform. Maybe a Sigma version, but certainly not a port of this version.
Yeah, but both Batman and Mass Effect get free DLC on the disc.
You don't NEED them. There probably won't be a majority of games that require them. In fact that only game I can think of so far that does is Nintendo Land, and that's strictly for the attractions that require them.
If you want to move on, use the gamepad and the Pro controller.
Usually I'm not into games that legitimately scare me. ZombiU is the first true survival horror experience I've looked forward to in a long time.
For the most part, the third party ports are pretty much going to be on par from what I've seen. The only developer claiming the Wii U version is best (in terms of graphics as well as gameplay) is Gearbox and the new Aliens game.
Beyond that I think it's preference. If you haven't played those games yet, then it's a great place to start. It's also good for anyone who doesn't want to pause the game to deal with weapon loadouts (Blops 2) or weapon invent...
Perhaps tech demos was not the best term to use. However, I stand by that unless you were selling them for $5 a pop, you could not sell the Nintendo Land attractions individually as their own standalone titles. Not unless each one has a lot of levels, in which case I'd of course be wrong.
That said, the online in this game is not essential. It would have been nice, but it's not a deal breaker for me, especially since my copy is coming with my Wii U.
Bubble up for intelligence.
I only use Gamestop because my local one has pretty cool management. They tell their customers about all the pre-orders and deals and whatnot, but they don't ever throw it in my face. The employees are actually really cool people, so I tend to ignore the hatred that the chain receives.
Beyond that, a lot of my games come from Amazon, particularly its marketplace.
So in other words, it's next gen.
While it's disappointing, we're talking about a bunch of tech demos. In all honesty, I'd rather they devote that sort of manpower toward online modes for games more deserving of it, like New Super Mario Bros. U or the later to come Smash Bros. title.

How do you determine the value by how light it is and how it feels in your hand? That says nothing about the actual tech inside of it. That and Nintendo historically makes their controllers look and feel similarly to plastic toys. Not a big surprise given that children are part of their consumer base.
The SIXAXIS controller was light as hell and had no rumble. How was that worth the asking price and this isn't?
I hope it does well. Monster Hunter is a fun series from what I've been told. Plus it would give Capcom grounds to localize Monster Hunter 4 on 3DS which I've heard looks amazing.
Simply put out more core games. That's pretty much all they need to do. Those who don't possess loyalty to a single brand will be interested and give it a go at one point or another. Beyond that, maintain a stream of content for the machine and don't let the gaming droughts that affected their last three generations happen again.
No need for floaty jumping or tripping either.
You probably can with four Pro controllers (albeit split screen). Blops 2 also supports the Wii+Nunchuk combo.
Resident Evil Revelations on the 3DS is online and that system only required me to input my friend codes once for the system. After that me and my friends could connect at any time without having to input any additional codes. I highly doubt the Wii U wouldn't take that same system (assuming that friend codes are still a large part of said system).
You blew $2000 before you decided you hated Wii games...?
What.
Well now I'm confused. IBM says it is then they say it isn't. Forget it; I'm waiting until someone opens the damn thing and tells us what the specs actually are.
