I'd ask for people to spread the word more, but I already made a blog that's already two steps from being a walking advertisement lol. Ah well. Here's hoping.

HUZZAH! Fingers crossed for these guys. A Hat in Time looks amazing.

How is the sales of this one gimped port a sign of the console itself not doing well?

@MassEffect23

I get that. I don't really see the correlation between Wii U sales and the success of this port. Pikmin 3 was among the ten best selling game of August according to NPD, and that's not even a well known Nintendo IP.

I hope your game is successful. If it looks appealing, I'd pledge for it. Personal disagreements are irrelevant is far as I'm concerned, so long as your attitude is kept in check while addressing your crowdfunders.

Edit: As in don't have a meltdown like Phil Fish. All the respect for the guy, but he opened a lot of doors for criticism by being publicly outlandish at times.

Next year Nintendo at least has Smash Bros. and Mario Kart, both of which will be online. Wii U at the very least surpasses its predecessor on every level, including online functionality. Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed III both ran multiplayer about as well as the 360 did. So while there are presently not many online games on Wii U, there's plenty of potential that only the ignorant are writing off.

Furthermore, a game doesn't need online to be good. Single play...

As much as I love Pikmin, it's not one of Nintendo's more popular franchises. And Wonderful 101 is a particularly niche new IP. The chances of that selling Wii Us was slim from the getgo. Also, Monster Hunter? That's about as niche in the west as Shantae is everywhere. :/

Renaissance characters would be much appreciated. Aladdin, Hercules and Mulan for starters.

@mcroddi

I'd hope so. I get that This game was meant to help boost notoriety for their newer and more popular stuff, but I think a lot of Disney fans would appreciate the older cult classics.

Having coop between Mulan, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Alice would be awesome.

Doesn't hurt to point out the pointlessly stupid nature of it though. Trolling or not, it's dumb. There really should be a better submission process for petitions like these.

So good news, it can come at any point in the future.

Bad news, it's not there and we won't know when the heck it's happening.

Gosh darn it, Nintendo. Gosh-friggin'-darn it. This is the only really large complaint I have about the Wii U right now and it NEEDS to be fixed yesterday.

DON'T LISTEN GAIZ, IT'S A SCAM IT'S TOTALLY DA SAME!!

I'm digging the remixed soundtrack, by the way.

Congrats on jumping in! Hope this entices you to back more indie games in the future. :)

The things is I can imagine just how many people on this site would click the disagree button on your comment. If someone was ever dumb enough and made a review saying The Last of Us sucked because it was on the PS3 and not on the 360 or PC, this community would go nuts on the reviewer.

As for the controls, they're not nearly as bad as some will have you believe (based on my experience with the demo). I would argue using the right stick is more intuitive, but drawing isn&...

This remake/bundle isn't even out yet.

Let me guess, another person complaining about the controls?

Didn't disappoint.

The thing is indie devs are not PR people. This leads to a more raw and real interaction between developer and consumer. WayForward loves to goof around a lot and have fun with their fans while, say, Phil Fish who is far less socially capable, winds up getting into a lot of online skirmishes.

Indie devs deserve FAR more props than typically given in my opinion. They are certainly not exempt from criticism, but I feel it's extremely unfair when some gamers seem to hold ind...

Am I the only one who thinks mapping touch controls to L3/R3 is extremely impractical? What about the rear touch panel controls for games like Tearaway?

So... I'm confused. Is this a console or a peripheral? I mean my primary concern is that it doesn't support the Vita's entire library. But if it is just a "future-proof HDMI box" then wouldn't the Vita basically be its controller? Personally I would prefer to get the regular Vita and later on use it on a PS4 if I wanted to play Vita games on a TV.

And to you guys hitting the disagree button on my earlier comment, I'm not downing on the thing. Chi...

Anything to support the game's Kickstarter! I don't think there's anyone out there who has an excuse not to at least give this a look now. :p

4665d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

It doesn't. wishingW3L lives in his own little world where if you disagree with anything he says, you're automatically a dumb fanboy or something of the like.

4665d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

With no touch support and it's not portable. The former point being it basically axes support from much of the Vita's touch based games and launch titles and the latter speaking for itself.

Vita TV's a pretty good idea for those looking for a cheap alternative, and I'm curious to see if it will be anymore successful on its own, but Sony better tread lightly with this one as the initial package already has a couple of drawbacks when compared to what I would con...
