That's been the "cool" thing for a while. Frankly I think Nintendo's Direct conferences are a great way to relay information to fans and even just the general public. Hopefully Nintendo can approach other outlets like E3 and GDC in the same way this year.
@DivineAssault
It's confirmed to be a DLC package for the full NSMBU game. Calm down.
@Good_Guy_Jamal
Ignore him. He's a troll.
@Nimblest-Assassin
I'm not choosing to boycott Rayman Legends or Ubisoft games in general. However their shady business practices in regards to the Wii U version of RL have certainly deterred my enthusiasm for the game.
I'll be focusing on more exciting endeavors, such as a number of the recently announced 3DS game as well as the likes of Monster Hunter and Pikmin 3 (whene...
They're cross-compatible. You can play local multiplayer with the Wii U and 3DS versions and transfer your save file between both.
@Ult iMate
You clearly don't understand the way parents buy video game hardware. They're not looking for features like that, they're just looking for a cheap device for their kids to play games on. So no, they're not going to buy hardware by virtue of anything you listed unless it's been specifically advertized or showcased on the box.
@disagrees
Really guys? Is what I said so unreal to you? Take a good long look at the Vi...
@TongkatAli
This coming from the joker who insinuated I was just a dumb fanboy just for stating why I was waiting to get a Playstation Vita.
Take your vendetta elsewhere, kid.
Not even close dude. They announced some new games, some important release dates, some DLC plans and gave Zelda fans a little love on Miiverse. I don't see how that's a waste of time.
Also I'm amused that Luigi's has this entire year dedicated to him. He's finally receiving some much deserved love lol.
I'm gonna go off on a limb and assume that Gearbox worked on that build for the demo while the guys at Timegate worked on those sections in the final product. Hopefully Gearbox can update each version of the game with something closer to their original vision.
Really. I've read a review or two that say otherwise and have heard crossword here on N4G form some users that it's not that bad, just nothing too special. I can't say because I've not yet played the game myself.
So SUBJECTIVELY not everyone hates the game. Hence my point there's no need to send "open letters" to people just for disagreeing with you.
Look at this past generation and, other than Sonic All-Stars Racing and Sonic Unleashed, tell me what "great content" Sega has produced. Unless you seriously count Sonic '06, Sonic Unleashed and the Golden Axe reboot to be quality software.
I don't think so. Casual game consumers generally gravitate toward the cheapest device on the market. Why go for a $250+ - $300+ Vita when there's a $170 - $200 3DS right next to it?
The Vita would do well with a price drop and some more software variety. Some advertisement would be great too. Just make the platform itself more competitive and it will probably pick up.
Well, hey. If they fix the problems the reviews have with it then awesome. Hopefully they can make all versions better. The size for it is bothersome, but hey, a large fix is better than no fix.
Okay, how about I send you an open letter every time you like a game I don't? Bet that wouldn't annoy you at all.
What a cute art style. It reminds me a lot of Wind Waker.
Thanks, I wouldn't want to be near you anyway.
I've never seen a full retail game go that low on Steam since Valve put out a $2.50 Halloween sale for Team Fortress 2 a couple of years back. But hey, I guess one can hope, right?
Huh. Does Nintendo go to GDC often? I look cautiously forward to this.
You can't say the Wii U is current gen if you're listing the PS3/360 as current gen as well. Those are last gen if we are now calling the Wii U next gen.
Yeah, I know. Sorry I should have been more clear and acknowledged that. I was just giving my thoughts on the idea and how people here generally say that it should happen.
I'm only a tool because it's Nintendo, right? I'll take that over being an incomprehensible troll.
