DelayS... still, Ocarina of Time was worth the wait, plus they managed to release Majora's Mask just 2 years later - a miracle by Zelda standards.
As far as I know, Nintendo have never delayed a console... That said, the NX basically has to launch with 'Breath of the Wild' (as well as the usual Mario/Pokemon stuff), so I can see them pushing the console back just for that title - which, like most other Zelda games, has probably been delayed (again).
I mean, it's nice to hear they're trying to push the envelope, as-opposed to simply making a re-skinned Dragon Age... Not to mention Bioware's narrative designers would have looked at how The Witcher handled open-world storytelling, with it's side-quests feeding into the main story - a story that allows the player several opportunities to spend time side-questing, without imposing a sense of urgency or 'guilt' for doing so.
That said, Dragon Age did ...
Them's delaying words...
Yeah, I'm not saying the music isn't great - I loved FH2's soundtrack and FH3 has basically the same lineup of artists as well as the new hip-hop station... I'm pretty sure the same crew is choosing Scalebound's tracklist.
BTW, have you seen the new video for 'Nobody Speak' by DJ Shadow? it's GREAT - dissin' at it's finest.
Well, it feels correct until you turn a corner and realize there's a truck bearing down on you... Some friends and I drove around America (in a souped-up beast of a F-Truck) and each morning one of us would make the same mistake and pull out onto the left side of the road - which wasn't so bad in Arizona, where you can drive for miles without seeing anyone, but was almost very bad in Utah.
Can't believe the cops let us off for driving down wrong side of the high...
As an Australian it's a real pleasure to see how much effort went into recreating the various environments - not to mention the road rules, which will finally allow Americans to experience the confusion/terror of driving full-speed on the wrong side of the road... I'm a little disappointed by the lack of local music, but Playground have more than made up for that with the legit Aussie accents - I was worried they were gonna use the 'Outback Steakhouse' guy.
I'm talking about the big, fat suckers in the rainforest sections... I don't know their proper name, but we (Aussies) call them 'Man Ferns' - not that they look anything like men.
Those aren't palm trees - they're ferns... soft enough to drive through, though I wouldn't recommend doing so.
Horizon: Zero Dawn will almost certainly be delayed (again) - Feb 28 was simply the latest they could push the date from it's initial 2016 release without infuriating the people that actually believed it would launch this year... now that folks are used to the idea of a 2017 release, Guerrilla will just wait until early January before announcing another delay - sometime in April would be my guess.
Don't be so sure - I'm buying a PS4P, but that's only because I don't already own a 'vanilla' PS4... that said, I've already played most of the 'enhanced' lineup and I couldn't care less about PSVR, so I'll probably end up waiting for Horizon: Zero Dawn - which will almost certainly be delayed (again).
Either way, it's 'Faux-K' status means I won't be buying a 4K/HDR television until Scorpio's release, at which...
Yeah, that's why I'm buying one...
Yeah, it's a bummer... oh well, Forza Horizon 3's demo just went up - 18 gigs of awesome!
Bummer... oh well - Forza Horizon 3's demo is NOW AVAILABLE!!!!
The Demo's finally up... Crikey Dingo - it's 18 gigs!
Sounds like you're blowing this 'issue' out of proportion... Kinect's mic works fine - not to mention it filters out the mouth-breathers.
Agreed - the NX will launch with Zelda and a bunch of other exclusives... meanwhile, the PS4P launches with The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush, niether of which have been confirmed to be getting enhanced versions.
Yeah, CoD and some older games are getting PS4P patches, but the first title that actually looks like a system/TV seller is Horizon: Zero Dawn and it's not due out til late Feb - though I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was delayed (again)... that said,...
But WHY do you care? I honestly don't see why anyone would ever want such a 'feature'...
If I'm alone, then I use my headphones for voice-chat - with my TV/Sound system turned down/off... if I have people with me I fire up the speakers and use Kinect, so we can all talk and hear what's being said over voice-chat.
What exactly am I missing?
You keep spamming this message, but noone cares... seriously, why would you even want voice chat on your speakers if you're wearing headphones?
These articles aren't just on N4G - they're EVERYWHERE... anyone with eyes can see that the reaction to the PS4P has been overwhelmingly negative.
I'm pretty sure Nier's February date is just for Japan - don't think they've announced a Western release date, but I'd expect a 1 or 2 month buffer... and Horizon will almost-certainly be delayed (again) - Feb 28 was simply the latest date Guerrilla could give without pissing-off the people that actually believed it would release this year, so they'll probably wait until early 2017 before announcing the old 'extra polish' delay.
edit: I noti...
