Rocket League cross play sucks!!! And, worse, it's the default for online play (which, im sure, most games would probably do). It almost ruins the game for me.

I think you're referring to a test that happened years ago in the ps3 Era before Sony significantly improved their service. Now there is virtually no difference between the online services they offer. Everything else is spin

The PS3 and Vita games are all cross-buy BTW. So all six offerings are good on the PS4.

Why do people want cross play? It benefits a minimal amount of gamers overall and it screws the pooch as far as keeping as even of a playing field as possible.
If it is kept to private matches I have no problem with it, but developers go ahead and make it the default and it sucks. It splits the player base of every console and ends up causing more problems than it solves.
