All GaaS model games should be free to play IMO.
Killzone Mercenaries on Vita was fantastic, too.
Killzone 3 was really good but didn't live up to the 2nd.
"Between the console versions, it’s a rather hard choice. The Xbox One X quite clearly has the advantage in terms of better image quality, but the PS4 Pro provides a better stable frame rate in the samples we tested. "
So Xbox 1 X has higher resolution but PS4 pro has higher framerate so the best version for console players depends on if you favor resolution or performance.
The downgrade is definitely real from the E3 demo...
It is true. But if it feels better to label me as lying then go ahead and do yer worst. There are plusses and minuses to cross play but the plusses get all the print with no mention of the drawbacks.
I have no dog in the console race dawg and to imply I'm a "corporate cheerleader" couldn't be farther from the truth. The only reason cross play is becoming such a fad suddenly is because it is message board ammo for some of the cheerleaders you rightly put do...
Cross play, in my experience, is a negative rather than a positive so "players" should beware. In Rocket League, the wait time to get a match has increased due to false starts and other factors and the player count hasn't budged much. Cross play increases the problem of an uneven playing field, too. The only positive is for smaller online based titles and all it does is prolong the inevitable decline of their user count for a bit.
The bad outweighs the good (p...
The Dems are calling for his resignation. What are you talking about?
...And keeping your talent properly motivated and engaged by making good decisions and creating an atmosphere where creative juices can thrive.
The suits are to blame. Always.
That's what I'm saying. The gaming media can keep crossplay as far as I'm concerned. It makes for an uneven playing field.
Rocket League crossplay is the default option and it sucks IMO. I've noticed absolutely no difference in the time it takes to get in a match (if anything, it's been worse due to seemingly more "reserved" spots that fail to connect) and the playing field is uneven and all over the place. Parity is dead in that game.
I wouldn't call WaW family friendly in the slightest. Or are you saying this is one of the "old ones"?
I was a tester for CoD WAW to say it was a "s&!t game" is ridiculous. I can't fairly rank it myself because I've only briefly played one of the Cods that have come out since then but it was definitely a good game. Truth is though, after spending all that time with it I've been pretty burnt on CoD ever since.
I remember testing the crap out of the Zombie mode. I can't believe that took off like it did (even though it was a fun extra)
Dude, it's the old west. Mofos supposed to be ugly...
Dang it!!!
I'm a big fan of the Killzone series but, I agree, Horizon outclassed them.
I still would love a new Killzone tho...
I believe many analysts were saying the same thing for 2018, if I remember correctly.
Haha. Love it. Keep on keeping on, man.
Just got the Astro Bot and Moss bundle for Christmas. Can't wait to set it up and check it out when I get home. For now, just looking at the box is making me smile...
To be fair, that's probably the ideal timing to release a similar style of game. When a game is in decline, those players are usually going to look around for something to replace it. Seems like the usual cycle for AAA MP releases...
I gots to agree with Venom here.
This article is saying that games are NOT a waste of time and goes on to address and dispute the typical arguments against gaming. Did you bother to read it before commenting?
People are so quick to bash articles on this site without even reading them first. I know these days it hurts to digest more than a tweet length of words at a time but many things in life need more than a bumper sticker of thought to properly explore and come to an informed conclusion.
