The Tales games are typically only loosely connected, with references among the games from one to another. Which mostly explains the everything shown in the article: The symbols on flags? Most likely loose references to Zestiria.
I said Melee would be a tough act to follow, too, but I gleefully picked up Brawl and Smash Wii U.
Honestly, Smash 4 is the most fun I've had with a Smash game since Melee, and while it's hard as hell to balance more than 58 characters, I can still imagine them doing quite a bit with the series. As someone who religiously played Smash 64, I was blown away by the additions made by Melee, Brawl, and now Smash 4. They're running 3/3 on the, "LOOK AT ALL THE NINT...
Ah, the initial combativeness took me aback and made me much less reluctant to actually listen and understand what you were saying.
I now know and acknowledge the difference between poor sound producing hardware and actual distortions in the audio track.
Appreciate you informing me on the differences, and I will take note of them in the future. As for semantics, I could imagine a course on the nature being fairly horrifying. I'm in pre-law to take the LSA...
lol, that explains the Xenosaga series in a nutshell, doesn't it? Haha.
"We deliberately distanced ourselves from having philosophical themes intertwined with the core of the story"
Which is a shame, since those themes were some of what I loved most about Xenogears, Xenosaga I-III, Xenoblade Chronicles. However, XCX is still most assuredly worth playing and is a great game. For those who appreciated prior games in the series and were disappointed with the story of XCX, don't worry because:
"Our hope is that we ...
Sorry, all I heard was, "There weren't any sound distortions, it was just the poor speakers of the GBA distorting the sound."
There were very clear problems that made listening that game on a GBA awful (horrible effects sounds, music sounding worse than the SNES release for most tracks, etc.). I don't want to get locked into a battle of semantics, but I'm figuring you knew what I meant.
Oh great, isn't this the version with the sound distortions?
Dying Light didn't fly under the radar- it was all anyone could talk about for a solid month.
I don't think anyone stopped talking about it except to complain about RE Revelations 2 which was like a full month later, and then Bloodborne, I think, was one of the first games to completely take the wind out of its sails.
So yeah, 10-11 months later, we're no longer talking about it- who would have thought? I think that says a bit of good about how we...
I love how in the Bayonetta poster artwork, Peach and Mr. Game and Watch are clashing their frying pans together. That's an incredibly well made poster.
I don't play many/any MMOs, but I find bannings are typically a fine route to take.
Lawsuits, however, I find to be exceptionally scary in terms of modding/cheating and video games, as it sets a frightening legal precedent. Litigation attorneys typically do not understand the difference between an MMORPG and Dark Souls, for example, the latter of which was practically saved by a mod on its release. Taking into account that a lot of these, "Cheat mods" are hooks ...
This is exactly what you'd do
Because Linkle is a character for Hyrule Warriors, a Dynasty Warriors-style Zelda spinoff game. You get to play as all types of characters, several of which you probably wouldn't ever see in a main Zelda title (like Cia or Lana, who alongside Volga are my favorites to play as).
I don't see anything wrong with giving players the option to play as Link or his sister for a game- when the events transpire that result in s...
Two crossbows in D&D 5E with the Crossbow Expert feat is pretty sweet, though, so maybe they thought along those lines?
... Knowing Hyrule Warriors, she'll probably reload them like an action star (no hands, ma!) after special attacks, etc..
@Vanity29
She's not literally a female Link. She shares his visual style (which, really, it's just a blonde person in a green cloak, rather than green tunic). She wields crossbows and, from what has been said and shown so far, uses a completely separate fighting style that's well in line with Hyrule Warriors. If she was literally a female Link, she'd be wielding the Master Sword. At current, she's a blonde girl with a hero complex.
You kno...
Sheik, Impa, Ruto, Agitha, Zelda, Midna, Twili Midna, and Cia were all playable in Hyrule Warriors previously.
Is there something about green-clad females that just makes you want to play that game, now? Because *that's* the game in which Linkle is appearing.
They've really cracked the code, haven't they, lol?
Kotaku wasn't always like it is, today. A lot of this new controversial crap has been drummed up in the last 4 or so years, and I say this as someone who has followed since the beginning, before Crecente took over a long time ago.
A lot of their newer writers, like Jason Schreier, I have a hard time dealing with anymore. Several of their writers have situations where they say something stupid, the person or group they insulted fires back at them, and they play the victim ...
A dutchbag sounds so much worse than a douchebag, lol.
You have got to be kidding me.
I would rather see Cia in a main Zelda title before Linkle, damnit.
lol, if Sora gets summon magic to call for outside help, then why doesn't Link get the reality-shaping Triforce? Or the Fierce Deity Mask which literally grants the power of a god?
