All I've wanted since Generations 1 was a Generations 2. No Werehog, no parkour mechanic, just rollin' around at the speed of sound.

@ Moonman I concur.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe looks like it's shaping up to be the best Mario Kart title we've seen since Double Dash. An actual battle mode + battle mode maps, carrying two items, tons of characters, etc., and the great thing about 8 is that its track list was already extremely solid.

I'm definitely looking forward to 8 Deluxe.

Mine does that too, and my couch is only about 8-10 feet from the television/system.

I just set up a repair order with them, and, due to my addiction to Binding of Isaac, I'll either be purchasing the game on Steam or buying a pro controller. Maybe even both, all things considered.

@Zombie- This isn't a matter of having an opinion different to your boss. This is a matter of you, by being employed at your boss's company, are thereby representing his business. So when you say stupid shit on a public forum such as, "Rich blacks commit more crimes than poor whites, look it up" (which, there are no reputable numbers that back this claim), you are representing your boss's business poorly.

The business has a right to eliminate contact w...

It runs out of energy and then has to recharge.

It's actually pretty clearly explained in the game so you can make your own extrapolations, as well. You know how its referenced multiple times throughout the early game that Link died/was mortally wounded and that's why he woke up 100 years later in the Shrine of Resurrection? Well, the sword was just as bad off (the rusted/chipped Master Sword you see in the title and loading screen is a result of Ganon's calamit...

My wife and I are most likely just getting a Pro Controller and that's it, for a while. She prefers using the joycons in the grip thing that came with the system while I'd prefer a larger controller overall.

From most of the information you can glean right now, it seems that the dock is a charging station and HDMI passthrough for the tablet. Nothing detailed so far has shown anything about processing in the dock, has it? The only thing I could find is that the tablet switches to a 1080p output mode when docked because of the HDMI connection.

If the dock had an ethernet port, there would need to be some kind of CAT5/6 connector to pass that through to the tablet for wired play, ...

I don't see why you have so many downvotes, Genuine-User. This *IS* good for PC players.

Even with a PS4, I'm looking toward getting the PC release to show support- I do love how many JRPGs are showing up on PC of late.

Yeah, this can actually cause "hardware fragmentation" that is beyond the console, itself. This should be interesting.

I mean, I'm still looking forward to the games on the system, but this decision is outright baffling to me.

How is matchmaking only being done through an app when Mario Kart DS, Wii, and 8 all had multiplayer matchmaking in game, yet for MK8 Deluxe they're *removing* in-game matchmaking to favor an app...?

What the hell. I don't even remotely get it.

"Fan support and demand for the game remained high over the next few years despite Capcom’s claim, and Inafune would go on to write Mighty No.9, considered by many to be a spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends 3."

Hahahahaha.

No.

So... I'm assuming, then, that they're also fixing a large number of ridiculous glitches the game had? This might actually be worth playing, then.

I remember playing this when it came out on my PS3. I got a game over on the first stage because the game absolutely refused to have the automated scripts run properly: I'd be in an automated shuttle loop section, and at the end of the loop, Sonic would just get tossed out into the water for no reason instead of landi...

I actually don't mind the shape of the controller at all.

I've never had good luck with Razer controllers, unfortunately. The Razer Onza I got for my Xbox had a mushy dpad and X button, and developed drift in the right analog stick after a month. The Sabertooth was somehow worse and completely stopped functioning within the first month, so I was able to return it for a refund.

Hopefully this PS4 controller is improved since Razer's Xbox days,...

I've always hated it when SE switches platforms for their games (I've followed Kingdom Hearts from the PS2, to GBA, to DS, to PSP, to 3DS, to PS3), but it bothers me, like inherently bothers the hell out of me, that they are moving a successful handheld franchise to mobile.

I sincerely hope this isn't the next main entry and is, instead, a spin off.

That's very true. JRPGs encompass everything from Xenogears to Valkryie Profile 2: Silmeria to Tales of Vesperia to God Eater to Eternal Poison. Some are turn based, some are strategy, some are action, but they're all still JRPGs.

I've been very against the moniker of JRPG for quite some time, actually, as the purpose of a term like that should be to describe what type of game it is and JRPG doesn't do a very good job of this. Grandia II plays very, very dif...

Sometimes, as people age, their tastes change.

I have no issue finding new and fun JRPGs for myself to play, but then again, I have played over 300-400 games in the RPG genre- from Planescape: Torment and Baldur's Gate II and Ultima IV to Final Fantasy VI, Ar Tonelico 2, and Ys Oath of Felgana.

From what it sounds like, the writer only appreciated one singular type of JRPG and heavily romanticizes what she liked back at that time. Dragon Quest Heroes ...
