"still this trend has to stop"
"sadly many buy these remasters/pc ports"
Yes it's always such a tragedy when people spend their money on things you don't want. Endeavor to persevere.
30 fps doesn't bother me at all. Idc what platform it is.
I didn't find it fun. *shrug*
"Play some PvP and you'll see how deep it is."
PvP with this game apparently means "the invader runs and hides among the AI, then tries to get in a cheap shot while you're fighting them". I don't remember past Souls game communities or Bloodborne's being so bad about that. Not saying it didn't happen, but it's been every time with DS3.
@frosty - I'm not done with my first DS3 play through yet but I have a ring that recovers HP from critical hits, a ring that recovers FP the same way, one that slowly recovers HP, and one that recovers HP upon enemy deaths.
"exclusives have dominated on the xbox one"
In what way? Attach rate? Certainly not in terms of number of exclusives, and certainly not in terms of critical reception.
"It's like someone talking about problems in their city and someone coming along and saying 'why don't you move then?' "
That is a very silly analogy.
@Dewitt - LG? lol No. I currently have an LG and I'll never buy another. I went cheap and I deeply regret it.
"The game flopped for being on a single platform."
It's not on a single platform, and it didn't flop. There goes the basis for your whole comment.
"Dark souls has better
art design
soundtrack
level design
enemy design
atmosphere"
Imo all those things are pretty much the same between the two games except for the atmosphere, which Bloodborne wins (again imo) because of the HP Lovecraft vibe. The Souls series and BB are my top games of all time, but so far I'm agreeing with Maxor. I have a hard time deciding which Souls game is better than the others, but Bloodborn...
I skipped DS2 but played the hell out of Bloodborne. Still play it in fact. I'm skeptical that DS3 will top BB but I'll definitely be there day one to find out.
Yeah I read somewhere that Nioh was very Souls like, but what I've seen doesn't back that up.
Trying to lose that last bubble I guess.
OT - For me, no. I love these games, but it's a question that could be asked about any series. Every game is repetitive.
Yeah I have a hard time believing these rumors myself.
Nice reading comprehension. He doesn't own a PS4. Slow down on the attack button.
OT - Assuming PS4K is real, those games better be on the regular PS4 as well or Sony will be making a big mistake imo.
@thekhurg - "I love the souls series and wish more people could play the games"
You love it so much you want it to give up it's identity. Other people playing the resulting shadow of a Souls game wouldn't be playing the real game anyway.
It's like they have a contractual obligation to include an area that has too much going on. It's my favorite series of all time, but ffs…
I didn't like Doom 3 at all, played it for free and didn't get far because it bored me. I'm glad this new one isn't a sequel to a game that wasn't much like the series it was named after.
"an arcade-ish multi-player mainstream gamer affair. The gore is over the top"
Yep that's Doom all right.
I love the game but it's quite a bit easier than the Souls games imo.
"all they had to do was revamp it with a new story & graphics"
If they did that it would simply be a different group of people complaining, and if it felt like the original Doom it would rightly be called archaic.
