Your comment makes me think you didn't play BB. DS3 doesn't have a more open world and BB has more variety to it's areas. DS3 has more weapons and armor but I rarely picked up anything that made me want to switch my equipment. No idea what you mean by more looting. You weren't forced to have a gun at all in Bb.

All these games have about the same replay value imo, but with DS3 I don't have the urge to replay like I did all the others, and BB is the only one I went completely through more than once. DS3 has the easiest bosses and weakest story imo, which might explain my waning interest. I'm sure when DLC arrives I'll get into it again.

DS3 has the easiest bosses, if that's what you mean by better. DS3 has more weapons and armor but most won't be used. World design is a tie imo, but BB had better story, lore, and atmosphere.

Dark Souls 3 has the easiest bosses of the Souls/Bb series imo, and I don't know what you're talking about when you say all BB areas looked identical.

@Move - This opinion article isn't from N4G, and it's a fact that PS4 exclusives are more highly rated compared to some other consoles.

OT - Yeah imo Bloodborne is a better game overall. I don't even think DS3 is the best Dark Souls game.

No they won't.

Depends on what Neo turns out to be, but I'm pretty sure there are people who were about to buy a PS4 and are now thinking they should wait and see. If all it does is enable 4K gaming then I don't think it will be a problem, but if it makes people who already own a PS4 sorry they bought it then Sony may indeed regret the strategy. They've shot themselves in the foot before so it's not out of the question for them to do it again, and I'm as big a PS guy as anyone here.

It's not the last chance to entice players, though some will lose interest faster than others and trade it in toward something else. Any new DLC or significant update will be a chance to entice players.

That's how it's been for me as well. I started a new character when I finished my first run through like I always do with these games, but haven't even gotten him to the battle against Vordt and don't have much urge to play. Still a great game and I do think it should be in the GotY contender conversation, but it hasn't held my attention as long as the past games did. It's strange because there are aspects of the game that are obviously more polished than in past versi...

Yes I will accept that challenge, right up until the moment when I'm consumed by rage and want to put my controller through my TV screen.

There's no way to know if it has hurt the franchise until the full game comes out and we see the total sales picture.

I didn't notice any choppiness at all, but I didn't like the feel of the gameplay so I also deleted it quickly. Strange how a game can be so like Souls, which I love, yet not be any fun for me. If there's another demo when the game is finished I'll give it another try, but this demo didn't sell me.

"EVERYTHING" isn't compared to Dark Souls, but Nioh is too similar to ignore the comparison if this demo is any indication. Personally I didn't like the feel of the demo's gameplay, but hopefully there will be another demo when the game is finished so I can give it another try.

IGN had a round table discussion about it and they all pretty much said they didn't understand why gamers seemed so uptight about it, so what are you talking about?

No sane person thinks Sony changed their price or major policies after MS's E3 presentation.

3594d ago 5 agree15 disagreeView comment

@Sureshot - The fact that you have more agrees than disagrees at the time of my reply is pretty comical. MS revealed their console and it's policies after Sony did, and anyone who really thinks Sony based the PS4's price on MS's E3 announcement is delusional.

OT - I imagine MS is a bit gun shy about announcing new things since their instincts about what gamers wanted in a new console was so off base.

If the rumored specs and policies are true, then no, not really. Damn some gamers are drama queens these days. I'm hoping it's not true because I'd rather buy a console every 5 years or so, but it's not a "middle finger" or a "slap in the face".

Reading a few comments and then applying their opinions to an entire group of people is idiotic. Response to Neo has been more negative than positive. IGN had a round table discussion about that very thing.
