As long as it isn't like Forza's Collector's Edition... Exclusive cars are lame, especially when they are NICE cars.
You're setting your expectations a little high there, buddy.
EDIT: 50 UNIQUE tracks? Not reverses? I'll load it up right now and count... :D
...Annnnnnnnnd.... damn, you're right. It always seemed like a lot less to me. Oh well, you may continue on with your now-a-bit-more-reasonable expectations!
That also means that if there was any doubt at all about Lamborghini and Bugatti appearing in GT5, it has just been all washed away.
I've seen murderers and pedophiles get off with less than this.
What the hell is wrong with our justice system?
...
Co-op is the best part of Halo, IMO. Of course, the only place I can play it is around a friend's house, so that may be partly why, but it is really, really fun to run through the game with a friend.
I'm really looking forward to some more co-op action in ODST.
I think that this may be first Madden game worth buying in a while. It certainly seems that although EA continues to milk the hell out of it, at least they are doing it with style now and actually listening to the fans.
I'm really digging the "new" EA.
Everything leads back to Hitler.
OF COURSE the PS2 is going to be cheaper, have cheaper games, and have more of them... It's been around for 10 years!
Thanks for stating the obvious Bruce.
"Ironically, as development costs explode for studios..."
Too bad these Activision peripherals are nothing but cheap hunks of plastic... that you have to pay out of your ass for. What a bunch of crap.
Assuming that I didn't mess up the conversion, isn't that still around $84 USD though? For a game that is almost 3 years old? I know that prices are higher in Australia, but jeez...
I feel really bad for our Australian friends.
I remember playing the original Roller Coaster Tycoon when something like the Pokemon "Missingno" glitch happened. Some entertainer or security guard or someone was walking around and suddenly they started glowing bright green/yellow and became an indistinguishable mess. It was terrifying, I thought a nuclear holocaust was upon us. lol
No. Period. The end.
Here's how you should think about it: If you buy a game for $100, you are paying for a game what you should be paying for a full console, the PS2.
If you were stupid enough to buy MW2 for $149, you could have bought a PS2 and 2 or 3 of the best games it has to offer. Instead you got a game and some cheap goggles. Way to go.
Game prices are (especially in this economy), expensive enough as is. I rarely even pay $60, unless it's a must...
Sounds like you need AdBlock Plus...
;)
Yeah, considering recent events, it is very hard to believe that he was joking.
I had no idea that this was a PS3 exclusive. The only reason I didn't pick up Ferrari Challenge was because I didn't like the idea of only being able to race one make. Now that it's been broadened to supercars in general, I think it will make a great little sim... certainly something to keep me held over until GT5.
Activision sure is on a slippery slope... I really hope that nobody with any common sense supports these ridiculous prices.
You can praise MW2 all you want, but there was no reason for the UK price hike, and I can't understand why anyone would want to put down $149 for the game, even if it is the special edition.
I didn't know you cared so much about colors and having some cars from the start?
Calming down and actually looking at what the pre-order bonus is would help. Everyone gets the Veryon. All of the cars are in the standard game, but if you pre-order you get them from the start and in a special color.
Read more than just the one, somewhat misinformed article people...
What the hell? Resistance and GT4 totally did not suck at all.
The only reason he put GT4 on there was because "it was boring." Let me tell you, it is faaaaaar from boring. It's obvious that his idea of a fun racing game is smashing cars up in Burnout, and can't appreciate a proper (as proper as you can get with the PS2) sim.
Both Resistance and GT4 deserved every sale they got.
I thought it was decent. It's really satisfying when you manage to turn a difficult situation around with some careful maneuvering.
Not only are you getting the game, but the limited edition. For that price, it is more than worth it.
