It's almost been a year since the game released and they are still supporting it with major (and minor) updates! The only other developer that comes to mind with such great support of recent games is Bethesda. I guess you could count Rockstar, but there are only 2 packs, and there's nothing else for the many months between the 2 packs... not to mention that half of the fanbase can't experience it... meh.
Well anyways, if you haven't bought LBP yet, you NEED to buy the GOTY editio...

I've never stopped gaming although I have been gaming A LOT less recently. I play about an hour (usually less though) of GT5P a day, and that's it.
Hopefully the incoming barrage of games changes that. :D
The Veryon, Enzo, Zonda, SLR, and Saleen are almost certainly going to be in GT5... I can't speak for Forza though as I haven't really been following it.
The Phantom and Carrera GT are some real ugly mothers...

Really, you're going to need to upgrade eventually. It might be a good time to make the jump soon, what with the rumored price-cut and slim model.
The only games I can think of that release on current-gen and past-gen consoles simultaeneusly are the sports titles... A PS2 version would be glaringly inferior (just like Mercs 2 was). And unless they outsource development, it would only hamper development of the proper PS3 version.

AHEM. PS3 and GT5 'fanboy' (well single console owner, I try to stay unbiased in console matters... although when it comes to GT I will call myself a fanboy :p ) here. Do you see me bashing the game? Hell no. I'm glad that those with 360's get a quality racing sim this October.

It was originally announced for the 360, with no mention of the PS3. Sure, common sense tells us that it was going to be multiplatform all along... But if we had none of that, like some people here don't, and just went by the information fed to us by the developers and media, it was very much a 360 exclusive for a while. In fact, if you type in "Lost Planet 2 360 exclusive" in Google, plenty of people believed it.

Yeah, it wasn't much of a credit to GT4's accuracy unfortunately. If I recall, Jeremy wasn't able to get anywhere near the time set in the game. Really shows how much the sensation of real fear is missing from these games...

Although I do agree. This and a lot of articles posted here are complete garbage.
It's good to see people who aren't really heavy gamers (and have plenty of hands-on experience with cars) preview these types of games... I'll trust a Top Gear opinion over a Gamespot opinion any day (in regards to racing sims, at least).

I'm trying really hard to keep a middle ground here, but come on... does he even have a PS3? The PS3 library is just as good as the 360 one.... In fact, they are almost completely similar. The majority of "must own" titles are multiplatform, and there are enough great exclusives to fill the gaps on both consoles.
