Try reading the article, it literally answers your question.
The OST grew on me in general, the Kill la Kill esque tyrant theme was more fitting for X than You Will Know Our Names would have been.
Embrace the portability. it's a real game changer.
The art direction for everything but the characters heads was indeed fantastic.
Lin's face shall forever haunt my waking nightmares.
They had some religion in Xenoblade, and Binding of Isaac was a hit on Switch too, so why not? They've also raised the age of their target audience as well.

Many people were confused about the plot, so that alone tells me there was some puzzling out that had to be done for it.
The story itself is pretty straightforward. Without giving outright spoilers: The villain has a clear cut and downright reasonable motivation. The oracle and the king were the ones that loved Noctis the most, and they had to live with the secret of his destiny, and when you think it through the revelations are soul crushing man. ...
The point of the article is that those stories require the conditioning acquired from Dark Souls to piece them together, and once they are pieced together, they are good stories. The article even points out that FFXV is a disjointed mess, and the need to piece the story together isn't by design, but poor story telling.
The article is saying those two games have two great stories that were told like a busted mess, and they're saved because the author learned to like ...
If it weren't for Breath of the Wild, Nier Automata would be my lock for GotY.
You could try reading the article before you make claims, it's literally about someone that didn't like portable consoles learning to like portability.
Also the Switch is outselling the PS4. People love the thing.
It's literally the only relevant system in Japan. By next year, it will be getting every Japanese game released aside from Death Stranding.and Sony exclusives.
I think Nintendo is going to blow some minds at E3 with their third party reveals, mostly from Japanese devs.
They originally announced one game, but the article is about how they just stated they want to port more to it, because the Swtch is selling like crazy, and everything put on it sells really well..
Unless you've never had to take a dump while playing a console game, you've had a need for portability.
Pokemon will probably release on Switch this October. Sun and Moon were made with HD assets, and the only reason that would make sense is if Nintendo planned to use said HD assets in a Switch version. Having all of the assets ready to go means porting Sun and Moon to Switch is a trivial task that can be done quickly.
It's the portability that's strong for third parties. As long as they don't put out a broken game like Mass Effect or Sonic Boom, it'll sell on Switch.
I'm saying the vast majority of Japanese gamers had no modern home console. There are 4.7 million PS4 owners and 78 thousand XB1 owners in Japan. The 3DS sold 22.7 million. The Switch is taking over for the 3DS and is on pace to outsell it, so 23 million plus gamers. Even if every single PS4 owner had a Switch, that's still a potential new market of 17 million gamers that 3rd parties had no chance to sell to before.
"The system just doesn't have the power to compete." He said, as the Nintendo Switch set fire to the world, continued to outsell the PS4 , and single-handedly resurrected the Japanese home console market.
A live conference is usually people filling space with crap nobody cares about, and has too many chances to screw things up. Nintendo Direct's can be perfectly paced, and have little chance of messing up.
The Switch's 720p display looks great. That 720p screen has 296 pixels per inch, as opposed to a 40" 1080p TV's 55 pixels per inch.
Mario Kart 8 is 1080/60, as will be Smash, and likely Splatoon, ARMS, Pokemon, and Mario.
Nintendo will have at least one major release for every remaining month in 2017, as well as indie games, neogeo ports, and virtual console. That's not counting upcoming third party games.
Myself and many others would take toned down graphics in exchange for the portability of Switch. Playing madden between university classes would be a great way to hang out with friends during dead periods.

While the original idea was by PG, it has since been axed and will come back as its own thing. Anyone that picks up Scalebound will have carte blanche to do whatever they want from it as long as it has some draconic tie in.
Honestly, I think Scalebound would have worked better without the sword, insteadfocusing on the use of ranged attacks. The original concept had the character staying out of combat and directing the dragon/dinosaur from a...
