I own and love all of the big 3 consoles every gen, but I do most of my gaming on X1....I too am glad you chose PS4. When you can't even realize that you're comparing EVERY KNOWN game for PS and Switch to X1's 2017 lineup...that's a special kind of thinking. Please stay on PSN, thank you.
Really? cause come March I'll have all 3, and I was just thinking it was actually impressive that the X1 2017 list holds its own in games I want to play against ALL KNOWN excluisves for PS and Switch....not only holds it's own, but provides MORE games that I want to play than the other 2 combined.

That could be argued, but this was a conversation about consoles...if PC is in this conversation, then these lists of exclusives are utterly ridiculous.....and all consoles get crushed.
X1 list is for 2017...the other 2 lists are ALL known exclusives....I think your definition of "pathetic" just flopped.
95% of the PS list...games that you would never know about if people didn't keep copy and pasting these lists. games that you will never be interested in playing.

They actually more so copied PSN than XBL....XBL at least invested in Dedicated servers to be used for gaming and not behind a secondary paid service. PSN started charging without upgrading their network at all....which is what Nintendo appears to be doing.

I think Phil has been great for the Xbox brand. He's giving gamers all sorts of options and constantly expanding what Xbox is and does. Except that argument it spot on. I've been a PS gamer since day one of PS1, but this gen it seems like they are riding the wave of early success (and trying to conserve since big Sony is hurting)...they get most of their exclusives from no name indies and are really only good for 1 quality game a year (which...while being good is usually over-rated to some extent...i.e. UC4, Bloodborne, inFamous SS...I can't even think of anymore off the top of my head now).

That's weird, cause even with Scalebound cancelled, there are still more Xbox exclusives I wanna play than on any other console...and the other consoles have great games too. The thing about MS exclusives is that even though the lists are shorter..they aren't padded with obscure Japanese indie titles that no one outside of Japan will play. If it was meeting or exceeding expectations...guarantee we'd never hear the end of it on here. I do hope the tech takes off...it just doesn't seem to be quite there yet. Once you can simply put on a VR headset and turn any game into a VR game (or not)...then it will be there. However, right now on PSVR...most (if not all) games are simply glorified tech demos.
