Zelda is KILLING IT...I can't wait, but in a weird twist of cruelty...I get my Switch tomorrow, but Zelda not until Tuesday :( I guess the silver lining is that it gives me more time to finish Horizon before moving on.
Well we disagree. The story really sucks so far in my opinion, but ultimately th's not a huge deal to me being as I mostly only care about the gameplay, which is good.
The original release was that it's coming to the Xbox family AND Scorpio....not 100% what that means, but it was clear that it wasn't just Scorpio
I have no problem with the gameplay (it feels a little clunky when you are a kid, but thankfully that goes away after you get older), the gameplay so far is great, I love it. The story is the only weakpoint of the game for me so far, it's actually really bad so far, but it DOES feel like it might turn here in a second, it's just really slow at first. LUCKILY, for a game like this, the story really doesn't matter...it's all about the gameplay which is great.
So far I'm still early into the game, it's a fantastic game. So far I wouldn't give it a perfect score though....probably closer to 8.5-9/10. I still have a lot of game to play so that can swing either way. So far the story is just flat out dumb and not engaging at all, but it's still early, it may turn. However, they gameplay is great, which is the most important part. The game also looks pretty good too, so that's a nice bonus. Looking forward playing more tonight....
That doesn't really make sense. All the consoles have the Multi-platform titles, so that's not a plus for PS...and they each have great exclusives to offer, they just cater to different tastes.
Seems like how it's been all gen really. PS has one solid exclusive each year.
In your rush to trash MS, you failed to realize that you're comparing map zoom size, not ACTUAL size. More to the point, they moved their conference (THE most important part) to a different day. All of this means nothing if what they show on either floor is boring or just repeats of old things. You really need to stop being such a fanboy, gaming is MUCH more enjoyable as someone that enjoys games on all consoles.
I hope they wait until 2020. As a gamer that likes to buy all the consoles, I actually really like that MS and Sony are now on alternating cycles. I think it's best for gamers, that way if every 2 years or so you want a jump in power you can grab another console and switch your Multiplat focus....but still play the great exclusives on each....plus there isn't one year where you drop a ton of cash on consoles that are similar to each other...it's spaced out more with more advanta...
This is wishful thinking at best. I have loved Sony since their first gen, but the notion of Sony being a powerhouse for exclusives is just false. YES there are great Sony exclusives, but so far that's been like Bloodborne, UC4, and Nioh (Nioh and Bloodborne aren't my style but I fully realize they are fantastic games). That agenda. RTS games aren't my thing, and I didn't buy it, but I did play a copy for a bit...and even as someone that isn't a fan of this type of game, I can tell this score is way low and unjustified.
That's actually the opposite this gen. Xbox has a higher Games attach ratio, more than double the hours of games played online (despite having almost half the consoles sold), and something like 3-4 times more paid online memberships...those all indicate that PS is the casual console. Recent proof is that Nioh was a really well received PS exclusive, but it just barely broke 1 mil sales out of an over 40mil install base.

Nice to see it getting GREAT reviews for the most part! So far I have been a little bit let down by most PS exclusives this gen, but the concensus with this one is that it's a winner. NICE!!!
