They did promise 4k, turns out it is just checkerboarding. Then again...it's not a major deal to me, but by the standard around here, it is a lie.
Well I STILL have both, and I can tell you it's minor. Sitting 4 feet away from a 70" 4k TV would make it extremely clear if true...it's not.
Um, it CAN do True 4k, but they have already also stated that it's up to Devs as to how to use the power. I have nothing against 4k, I have a 70" 4k TV...but realistically, I'd RATHER devs keep it 1080p 60FPS (or more), but with added AI, Atmospheric effect, phyisics, etc....rather than just bumping up the Res. It's already at the point that the difference between 900p and 1080p is minor at best.

Sweet, they look like excellent games, have fun. Right now it's looking like Mass Effect is a strong contender for my GOTY, we'll see if that pans out, if not it may be Zelda. I've only played 2 hours of it so far, but so far it seems fantastic. Really there are too many great options this year. Prey might be on that list and if Crackdown 3 or Sea of Thieves work out to do what they intend to do...those may make an apperance on the list as well. Even without GOTY consideratio...
I'm the same, I always run around doing side missions and such whenever I play an open world game. I have far too much Ridge-Wood right now...stupid OCD. Yeah the glitches have been very minor this whole game, it's really just the 3 crashes I've had, but I haven't heard any one else complaining about it, so it might just be my specific machine.
Yeah I thought about that too, but it's in a pretty open space and it doesn't seem to have to do anything with how long I have been playing. My PS4 is pretty old, hoping it's not just on it's last legs or something.

Not while playing Horizon or Zelda no, but when done with both, of course I will go back from Prey, Wildlands, and Mass Effect.

So far I'm really impressed with the gameplay for this game. The game play is fun and engaging. I'm not big on the story til now and the voice acting/script often falls short (pretty much everyone except Aloy and Rost are garbage so far). Luckily for this kind of game, that's not a huge deal and the game files on all cylinders for the parts that DO matter. Fantastic game so far. I wouldn't quite give it a 10/10, more a 9/10...but all in all...a must buy for anyone with PS...

My comments are an even and fair representation of what Sony provides. I have been a fan of Sony since day one of PS1...I have no reason to lie about what they do...I want them to continue to provide me with great games to play. This game does that. At the same time, I don't want to fill the gaming world with false statements about a game's quality...and the simple fact that me saying a game is great but not perfect offends you in ANY WAY and is proof to you that I'm a fanboy.....
It's insane that so far the LOWEST score for this game I have seen is 9/10. I know lower ones are out there, but so far that's the lowest I've seen. Fantastic news.

As of right now it does have a solid claim for that.
HZD is a really good game gameply-wise, but the story sucks for it...so while it IS a great game, it's scores are a bit inflated. I'm not done, but so far it's a solid 8.5-9/10. But yes, it looks like Zelda is gonna dominate Horizon

If PS4 Pro can do ANY game in 4k, then people here see that as NOT a lie by Sony, eventhough the vast majority of games aren't true native 4k....yet apparently Scorpio HAS to deliver all games in 4k or else? ...eventhough they never made the promise that all games would be? They openly said from the start it's up to the devs. If the less powerful PS4 can do a 4k game, why is it even a question at all if the Scorpio can?
