I see there's gonna be a lot of changes to KZ multiplayer. I hope they're all for the better as KZ2 is one of my all time favorites. I'm usually not a fan of vehicle combat though so hopefully they are able to do it right.

While you may not have to worry about hardware cost now, as an Actuary student I have to say that putting that money you spent on a Ps3 early into a savings account instead and sat on the interest...your ps3 would have cost relatively much less now(even without price cut) and you'd have the extra money to spend on games :P. Yeah I just played through the game again twice on a new character and there were just as many people to play with as when it first released in US. Things get slow around midnight, but I was impressed that the community has held up so well.
If you're an RPG fan than I would recommend picking up Demon's souls before you even bother with any other games. It's that good.
I would appreciate a remake, mainly because I've still never played the original. I missed my opportunity when back when it was new-ish and I've been holding out for a remake. Playing retro games is only fun for my when I have the memories from playing them back in the day like chrono trigger. I have a feeling I wouldn't enjoy trying to make my way through it now. I may put it on my psp some day though if a remake doesn't show up.

the combat is pretty bad but that's not the reason people play oblivion. I found that using a bow and arrow makes the game pretty enjoyable though.
