even if that were true...who cares? is that extra .5 really going to make you enjoy the game any more?
good read +bub
TBH I didn't play anything in 2010 that is probably going to stick on my favorite games of all time list but I GOW3 or ME2 deserve the goty title over everything else I play.
I know a lot of people really enjoyed RDR but I didn't...I'm not a huge fan of open world action games though so I'm a bit biased. I can never bring myself to play through them more than once if they don't have some sort of rpg elements so I can atleast change my play style the seco...
any of you guys remember that old troll bungie/greenringoflife with the spiderman avatars? I'm thinking with as much time and dedication this guy is putting in to it for the 6 days he has had this account...it has got to be the same guy. although bungie/green was funnier.
I never understood how this couldn't be illegal. game/software developers have to pay for the playstation liscense to be able to use their software on the ps3 don't they? Maybe that would only apply if they were profiting from it, though.
lol...
would that make you happy?
TBH if they bricked your console completely cause you were pirating games...it really wouldn't matter if it was legal for them to do so. Are you really going to take them to court over a 300 dollar piece of hardware admitting you were pirating games which would carry a much stiffer penalty than $300. think about it.
I mean as long as they had full proof of you pirating games, I guess I don't see what anybody could do about it.
true maybe, but what really should be in the guinness records? who can throw a stick the furthest, longest little toenail ever, largest ball of twine? it's always been full of stupid pointless records.
I agree that account banning is kind of useless on the ps3 seeing as how anyone can start up a new one for free. Banning the system from going online seems reasonable though.
they make money so it is ok to steal from them...sweet excuse me while i go grab my neighbors Dodge Viper. /s
nightmare is right (i think) i've never read the sony ToS but it is possible that we don't own the software and only have a lease on it. So then legally they could do anything they wanted to your software on your ps3 if you don't play by their rules. Most video games (especially online ones) are using this theory today to combat hackers/pirates. I know for a fact that for star craft 2 you don't own the game but rather you buy a license to play the game.
while that seems a bit over-dramatic....i wouldn't be opposed :P
Those things COULD have been caused by latency. The autoaim in cod games can sometimes kick in behind walls and what not. Try jus aiming right at a corner sometime until an enemy comes around it. The autoaim will move before the actual skin shows from around the corner. people shouldn't get reported just because of one or two lucky shots. Unless you were on pc i guess there shouldn't be any auto-aim that i'm aware of.
edit:sorry ahead of time if i am mistaki...
@commander if you have to resort to hacking to a win a n online video game....then you just suck and should get a new hobby. No reason legitimate consumers should have to pay the price for this. Playing with people who hack just isn't fun...at all.
You would think that the theater mode in blops would make finding and banning these people quite a bit easier.
I hate this...
I don't know the exact laws in the countries that the others are in but if they they think they have a case in those countries as well, i'm sure they will soon file lawsuits there as well.
i have a feeling the added battery strain would be the kicker for handhelds if ya know what i'm sayin. although an optional off setting would fix that.
I wouldn't worry about it being unbalanced. Picking up a move doesn't instantly make you a badass at shooting. It's kind of like learning to use analog sticks all over again. And no move is not just like a mouse.
I've been trying to play mag with move but i'm still WAY quicker/better with ds. Long distance shot are pretty easy to pick up but I'm a mess at close range with the move. I can't speak for everyone but it does take some skill to ma...
