Yeah, I imagine Nascar will be sporting PS3/GT5 ads and billboards come closer to release. NASCAR has a HUGE following. Most popular sport in America(or atleast it was 2 years ago when I took a Marketing class)
Ps3 demo looks pretty good (for an open world game and all) But it could be easily summed up as Mercs 2+grapple gun. And yeah some of the vehicles are overly difficult to drive.
Once you start experimenting with the grapple hook it gets really fun though, grapple an enemy to a gas tank and then shoot the tank once. the tank shoots off into space taking the enemy with it 8D

I'm cool with both, as long as the arc is an afterthought and left out of multiplayer (or separate rooms/whatever is needed to keep it balanced.)

Sigh. ND really needs to stop messing with the balancing so much. TBH I thought everything was better to start off with. I guess it's their first online attempt. Now they can learn that they're never going to make every gamer happy and anybody with a keyboard and an internet connection is willing to tell them how to do their job. And secondly that 99% of those people are idiots and don't anything about balancing an online game.

Mods on UT3 were awesome, it's really a shame the community for the game died out so quickly. It kinda seems most of the gaming world has moved beyond the Unreal Tournament series.
Also, MAJOR props to Epic for adding split-screen into the ps3 version. That was really cool of them.

I don't think I would put money in to another Treyarch game again as long as I live. It took them around 6 months to even bother making a patch for the damn game(W@W). And the invite system to this day is still screwy. (PS3 version btw)
I don't know how well they took care of the other platforms, but at least us PS3 owners were left out. I know a lot of people on here like to complain about IW, but say what you want, they have at least been working hard at patching each issue...
If you ever looked at your trophies while not in-game and connected to PSN then they sync. Or if you check you profile card thingy (in or out of game) they also sync.
Edit: also they might not have disappeared off of your hard-drive unless you tried booting up that game or looking at the trophies during the time the bug was effecting the ps3.
I imagine their contracts work much like actors...you get this much money for doing the movie no matter what. If the movie grosses over this amount..you get extra(percentage or fixed..im not really sure).
If there wasn't something like this, then why would studios work harder to make a AAA game as opposed to just an A game. They could be getting payed the same for doing less work.

on a good note though, I've noticed that both Netflix streaming and the internet browser work...just no psn or some trophy enabled games.
Any body been following close enough to tell, is it by chance only the trophy enabled games in which the save files are locked (like heavy rain and AC2) that you aren't able to play. I'm too worried to test anymore games in fear of losing my trophies :P
