every time ive tried logging into home... seems like theres always one girl in the room and 50 guys in a huge crowd around her trying to hit on her. creeps me out that there are people out there are so desperate that they have to hit on girl avatars in a digital world....

i had a lot of fun with darksector...i always felt that game was better than people gave it credit for.
iiii feel like even if i were a halo fanboy (im not) i wouldn't spend $60 on a 5 hour expansion and a map pack for halo 3 multiplayer...just sayin...not tryin to dis halo, bungie are good developers...but from what i can tell, price point on this is ridiculous.
to be honest, i want this game to flop, not necessarily cause its halo, but on the fact that i dont want other developers thinking they can get away with crap like that.
my wifes ps3 just got the YLOD last night about 2 am i think. It's an 80gb(no BC) it was produced oct 2008,(says on bottom of ps3) we purchased it just at the end of feb 2009. (its still under warranty!!)
for anyone who bought a ps3 from gamestop, and it broke, and you cant find your receipt for warranty work. if you call gamestops main offices they can verify to sony that you purchased it (i think you had to buy it with a credit card) thats what they are doing for us :)

are you referin to the Konami Id thing? i remember waiting hours for that website to load when mgs4 was comming out so i could get my id to play. Yeah it was a pain in the butt...and if my hdd ever gets wiped and i cant find my code and password...say good bye to the addons i bought for it.
other than that MGO was great...had a lot of GREAT ideas. but i also understand why it wasn't/isn't the most popular online game ever.
i swear MW2 looks like it moves twice as fast as MW1..character speeds that is. am i crazy? or have i been away from mw1 too long.
right after i posted that comment, i got on my wifes ps3 to play the uncharted 2 demo. and BAM!!!! yellow light of death. i should have seen the signs coming...the fan has been running louder than usual lately.
just glad it was my wifes ps3 and not mine :P

as of this second ...you have 24 agrees and 2 disagrees...this means 24/26 people WILL buy this game. Currently there are 6.785 billion people on the planet...therefore this game will sell 6.263 BILLION copies<==fact. :|

tbh, im pleasantly surprised how well the multiplayer is looking.
I hate it when I can't tell if people are being sarcastic or not...
you know...saying you expect zero punctuation to nitpick a game to death is like saying you expect the sun will come up tomorrow...
textures aren't that high (and i believe the game isnt quite native 720p) because they want the game to run at 60 frames per second. which is not only nice for such a fast paced, twitchy fps like cod. but its also impressive considering the hardware they are working with...360 and ps3. most games are 30fps. itll look good enough for you guys that enjoy the series. im a little burned out on it personally.
..I have put off U2 multiplayer as tacked on since i played the first and it was such a great single player experience. but i started watching all the youtube videos people have been posting...and well to cut this short...im going to gamestop after class today to see if i can get my hand on a demo code. :D
Personally i'm not a fan of home. To me it's, for the most part, boring and useless. Although Im a 22 year-old married college student so I'm prolly not their biggest demographic for something like this. but i would much rather all that time and money be spent on upgrading fw/xmb. or even more exclusive games :D
..that the price will go down pretty quickly on this title. It doesn't have a very wide audience...but i'm afraid i can't wait...i'm gonna go pre-order tomorrow :D
but to be honest I just want Guild Wars 2 to come out...they should release it on ps3 as well :D
this won't affect your freezing but your router might be the problem with the PSN not connecting. It took me three different routers before i found one that would actually work correctly with PSN, like actually connecting when it's supposed to and not getting signed out randomly.
I don't want to sound like a jerk, but maybe the guy shouldn't have been placing so many random bouncing betty's.

in all seriousness though, sad news. I hate seeing stories on here like this. Just as much as I hate seeing those articles about guys meeting boys on xbox live(or psn or WoW or whatever) and raping/killing them. gives gamers a bad name. hope the d-dag gets what's commin' to him. a 300 pound prison boyfriend.
aren't reviews there to help consumers decide if a game is worth its price tag?
