Just a thought here, but I wonder how many xb1's did MS produce before the removal of kinect was possible? And how much will it have cost them to send all of those pre-made units back to the factory for new firmware updates to be installed? Just a question? I'm betting a hell of lot. Especially this close to release.
MS next 180 will be to rename the XB1 to the XB720 lol
wouldn't your own broadband speed also need to be factored in to it??
Xbox One Backlash Has Been ''Unfair'', Says Peter Molyneux
No, not at all. If MS wasn't trying to push an 'unfinished' console out on the consumer, then the backlash would be the way it is.
And by 'unfinished' I mean, a console which is being chopped up and changed this late in dev-cycle and only a few months away from launch because MS wasn't interested in what we 'the gamers' would have liked to of had, instead, they l...
AA batteries!!!! Jesus Christ!!! I thought we was in the year 2013! Not 1913! Get it together MS, your turning yourselves into a laughing stock.
If there a lot of xb1 articles on here, then that's down to MS trying push an "unfinished console" out of the door and on to consumers like you and I.
Seriously, MS have tried to pitch a system on to the masses, yet every time someone comes out with a statement claiming the xb1 can do whatever, ten min later, someone else has to come out to correct what's been said because they suddenly realise they can't keep to what they promise.
MS have only themselves...
When I hear the term "Sony fanboy" I have to chuckle to myself as its such a lose term. Seriously, many here are "fans of the PS" or "fans of the XBOX" depending on your own personal preference. A true "fanboy" however, is someone like my best mate, who I might add will only ever buy products from a single company. As is in his case, Sony tv, Sony ps, Sony DVD player, Sony blu-ray player, Sony hi-fi, Sony in-car stereo.
Now that's a "fa...
I see little to no real point in owning an XB1 here in the UK. As some of the features that MS are going on about wont work in the UK. i.e. TV features. And before I start to get the disagree's from ppl, its a fact that MS have had 'talks' with SKY and Virgin Media, but as yet, no deal has been struck with either. Which renders the TV side of XB1 almost pointless.
Thanks :-)
If they are doing a new mass effect game it should centre around the tech left behind by the reapers and an alien race who stumbles across it. Which would be a more ideal setting. But that my opinion
I agree that DLing time on psn are slow, however, no-one knows yet how fast such things will be on the next gen console, as they aren't even out yet. Lets save judgement of online services until then.
Why the hell are the USB ports at the back of the consoles??? I'd have preferred them to be at the front for easy access.
+1 to sony
Google Glasses anyone??
Portal 2 does it for me everytime :D
'If the laws of physics no longer apply..... God help you'!! lol
Dam!! that's gonna be 'One' heavy controller!! (with batteries).
I'll only worry about the OS and its UI once I actually have the console up and running in home.
Then I'll pass judgement.
I heard a rumor that if you get muted by another player, that in turn goes against your rep? if true then anyone who plays in the same room as me is f***ed then, as I cant stand to hear 11-23 other ppl talking nonsense whilst im listening to the sound effects and background news.
Sadly, you will always have the unfortunate encounter with very small minded people on the web.
I myself had an incident a few months back whilst playing on Black Ops 2 (Tranzit Mode), where some silly little twerp was going on about want to doing sexual things with my very daughter.
I promptly left the game and report those ppl, however, I expect that very little to nothing was done about it.
Its easy to say things when you know the chances are that you will never be ...
I saw a video only a few weeks ago that showed cloud based computing helping to do lightning effects on a PC demo. I think it might have been Nvidiea but cant be sure.
However, the 'cloud' they was using was based locally (poss in the next room) and it left me wondering, if cloud computing could do what they were trying to show, how bad would the lag get once several hundred thousand are all trying to use the same cloud with totally different broadband speeds?
Just a t...
