Im sorry but that's no killer feature lol. If you can afford a XB1, then surely you must be able to pay for internet services! LMFAO! Can play with yours mates still lol
Just as a reminder to some ppl.
You'll be able to buy a PS4 with EyeCam, 2 Controllers, a copy of Killzone and a special edition of DriveClub on day one for £430. The same price as XB1 with Kinect, 2 games and only 1 Controller.
Know what I would buy on day one if had the chance. PS4.
But that's my own personal opinion though.
I personally wouldn't believe a word that comes out of Microsofts mouths these days. All the PR turn arounds, misinformation and poor value products of the last few years has lost them a lifelong customer.
Cause I won't be getting a ps4 till end of feb
Timesplitters 2 on the ps2 was one of the best shooters I ever played. Hope the next one is as good with a solid SP mode & co-op :-)
One of only 3 games I actually want on this gen that's left :) batman and battlefield are the other 2 lol
Thanks Sony :-) but I'm afraid but I think I'll still wait until end of feb to get mine. Might get a bundle deal and a few games second hand :-)
Wow. That's truly amazing. it really, really is.
And its only cost £40 per year to enjoy and hear such rich sound quality coming from foul mouthed little twerps.
You guys should try the PS. no seriously, I'm not joking. We get the same sound quality and foul mouthed twerps as you guys and girls do...... just with out the cost.
Amazing!! :D
Blimey ppl..... cant we all just wait until BF5 comes out? Which will proberly be PC, PS4 and XB1 only. By then DICE should of had enough time to grip to grips with the new hardware and maybe (just maybe) we will all get a game that runs at high settings and high frame rates. We cant expect the world at our feet over night ya know.
How the $299 32GB Wii U stacks up against PS4/Xbox One?
Short answer........... it doesn't.
Wow! Suddenly the ps4 eye is looking like an attractive alternative as will feature all of the same features that kinect offers, but at a lower price........ Oh and it's optional lol
I've got a feeling that Xone will be the new SEGA Saturn!! Bolting out of the gates before the race has started.
I'm more than happy to wait till the end of feb before I buy a next gen system. Not only because its close to my B-day. But I may also find some of those launch titles and a lower price :-) y rush lol
@b-radical. How on earth can you make the claim that PC ports have no effort put into them when most games are developed on PC's before being ported over to consoles?
Sorry Izzy but the changes that you listed were not because of the end of the consumers dissatisfaction i.e. you and I, but because the shareholders, the publishers and the developers whom soon saw how badly a product was being marketed and wanted it changed.
But you are right about CORPORATIONS and how given the half the chance, they would try to screw everyone including their mothers.
IMO, MS had an interesting vision of the future of console gaming, but should have done all of this in reverse.
By that I mean, launch the console as it is 'now', then later down the line, introduce all of their 'new feature's before they backtracked' slowly and see how the gaming community responded to them. If any were successful, then make them mandatory in the 'Gen' after this upcoming one.
But that's my opinion.
LOL i'll let eBay know that your on your way ;)
Microsoft as a 'whole company', is falling into disarray and have been for several years. And trying to throw money around like confetti ($3billion for development cost of XB1 and another $400mil for NFL rights(USA only), over $1billion for Win8 OS) is not going to resolve any of their problems. They seriously need to go back to the drawing board and take a good hard look at all of their products.
Knockknock is heading in the right direction with his comment on redesign. Slimmer CPU's and the average cost of memory chips falling could lead to a lower price of the device. Also, the VITA has been around for a while now, so sony could and should offer it at a slightly lower price. Plus Sony want to try to promote it as an optional controller to us the average consumer without it seeming as though its a totally separate system.
The answer to the question of "is kinect worth the extra?" Comes down to whether or not you live in the US of A or not!
America will get more use and functionality out of the kinect than the rest of the world will really. And before I start getting disagrees, bear in mind that there is currently no TV service announced by any of the UK's tv providers as of yet. So here in London, you can forget about hooking up your sky box or virgin media set box because neither will wo...
