The XB1 is $100 more expensive because M$ are out to shaft you, FACT. And that's before you start to weigh up the differences. For $60 I could buy a PS-Eye and have almost all of the same functions avalible as you will at XB1's launch.
Whilst you'll have to fork out $$$ for access to Netflix, Chat, Internet, ETC ETC, i'll be enjoying those features.

Its good to hear of a possible fault with the new PS4 has been found this early as it gives sony plenty of time to correct this issue with manufacturing. If Thermal Paste has been the issue along, then a cheap fix at their end should hopefully be resovled by the time the Xmas batches arrive. As for the claim of 'Sabotage', I think that is slightly overblown. although, possibly true given FoxConn's Rep.

Seems the safest thing to do is use is a hdmi cable that you already use instead of the cable provided.
I'm having to buy my ps through a catalog due to money being short around Xmas. And I did feel I bit let down when told I could expect it to arrive end of feb. Now I'm kinda glad I won't get it till about the 4th or 5th batch is out, as it gives Sony time to work out these kind of kinks.

Simple, but costly way of cutting down the booting time is to buy yourself a SSD (solid state drive for those unsure).

Ryse will be just like heavy rain for ps3. You move around in small sandboxed areas, and when prompted to, you take part in QTE's. Hardly impressive in terms of gameplay. But good if all you want is a story. And that's it!
Users reviews are based on the finished product, where as a game journalist's review will be based on the work through Alpha, Beta and End User product, and they can tell you where a game has gotten better or worse. Aliens Colonial Marines being a prime example. Remember the previews for that? and the final review?
I always take people's personal opinions with a pinch of salt, as some can be biased towards brand.
