Taking Ubisoft's numbers at face value gives the PS4 a significant lead. 22 people out of 100 plan to buy a PS4 in the next 12 months, while only 18 out of 100 people plan to buy an Xbone. If those numbers are accurate, it's a 22.2% lead for the PS4. That's pretty sizeable.
The article also doesn't say whether that's the US, NA, Europe, or what. If the PS4 outsells the bone by 20% in NA, it's going to have a huge edge worldwide.
This is more of an indicator of badly Ryse sucks. That game is so bad the even Polygon felt obliged to give it a poor score. Although they still made sure to score it higher than KZ.
The 7.5 for TLOU tells you everything you need to know about these guys.
"To be clear, this isn’t Microsoft’s God Of War. Rather, it’s Call Of Duty with a sword,"
Ouch. Better luck next time.
It's been really obvious that this game was a turd going all the way back to E3. The last-day embargo should have just confirmed it. Honestly, anybody who preordered Ryse and is stuck with it now has only themselves to blame for not doing their homework.
And to think you only have one bubble.
Call me old-fashioned, but I think a game needs to be playable to score a 4/5 or above.
In fairness, it really is a better media hub than the PS4. Obviously the PS4 is the better gaming device though.
Somebody should keep a running list of all the sites trying to tell us that resolution doesn't matter, so that we'll know not to pay attention to them in the future. I can't believe people are seriously making this argument in 2013.
I've watched a bit of this game through the PS4s streaming service, and I'm baffled as to why it's getting shredded in reviews. It's obviously not going to win any GOTYs but it looks like a halfway decent 7-ish title. I can see myself picking it up when it hits the bargain bin; alternately I'd be happy if it turned up as a PS+ release.
I actually don't mind DLC for this game. BF4 shipped with plenty of vanilla maps, and map packs really do provide some spice for when the original maps start to get stale.
Obviously EA and DICE deserve all kinds of criticism for shipping a broken game. I would have already bought Premium by now if the game was working right.
This game is stellar when it works. Which isn't very often. Can't believe it shipped this broken.
Yes, this game is definitely busted, but it's so good when it's working. Which is not very often.
I feel like I bought the "test" version three weeks ago.
This is a really weird list. The author is really upset over the lack of backwards compatibility. Who cares? Keep your 360 -- problem solved.
On the other hand, he seems to be one of the many visually impaired people who claims to not be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 720p. I had no idea so many folks out there had such poor vision. How did he manage to get a drivers license? Or maybe he doesn't have one. Who knows.
Awesome game. I was surprised by the difficulty. It took me five tries to beat the last level on Easy. I'll have to spend some serious time with this title to work my way through the other difficulties.
Nothing wrong with picking up an Xbox at launch obviously, but I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that you never owned a PS2. As dominant and awesome as that console was, I just don't understand that.
It's clearly pushing my PS3 pretty hard, but I'm at level 17 and haven't had a single freeze yet. I think I've only had one or two server crashes. Game is running great for me.
Maybe its TLOU in space. Joel and Ellie travel to Cape Canaveral and board an abandoned space shuttle to escape the infected. When they arrive at the International Space Station, they find that the crew was infected too, and they have to fight for survival using the laser weapons that the crew left behind. The game ends with Ellie asking Joel if she's the first woman who's ever been in space, and Joel looks her in the eye and says "Yes." Credits roll.
Yeah, I sold this game several weeks ago. Very good SP campaign, but incredibly disappointing MP. I should have learned my lesson from GTA4 and picked up at half price a few months from now, but I wanted on last swan song on the PS3. Oof.
