Um, nope. Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, and TLOU managed to combine top-notch SP campaigns with pretty darn good MP. ND has proven that they can pull this off -- no reason to change it now.
PSN downtime and janky store updates didn't bother me that much when it was all free. Now that PS+ is required for online play, it's just unacceptable to miss deadlines like this without any explanation. That's terrible customer service.
I'm getting sort of pissed that the store hasn't updated yet in NA. I want my free copy of Lone Survivor, especially since I have the day off today and was looking forward to playing it.
I was okay with cutting Sony some slack last gen when I was just using PSN for free. But since I started paying for PS+, and especially now that it's required for online play, it's time to hold them to a higher standard. Is it really asking that much for the store to update...
Yeah, it really pisses me off when Sony gives me free games. What a bunch of jerks. /s
So you'll be playing this on the 360 then, right?
I like dynamic day/night cycles in games like Skyrim, but I hate them in games like GTA and Assassins Creed. Not sure I can explain why but it makes perfect sense to me. I'd prefer to have them be story driven in inFamous.
Time to throw out my 1080p television then. From now on I'm rocking 480i.
This is a stupid comparison. infamous is next-gen; Titanfall is cross-gen. infamous is a SP sandbox game; Titanfall is a multiplayer shooter. These games have nothing in common other than they're both video games.
Titanfall is going to sell a ton of copies and move some hardware, but it's not a "true" next-gen game, despite what the author says. It's still cross-gen.
I actually liked the AT-AT game when I was a kid. Of course I was young and stupid back then.
Same here. I was seriously considering buying an xbone this time last year. But now that I have a PS4, there's basically no reason to buy one -- there aren't any MS exclusives that would justify buying a $500 console for, and I would buy every multiplatform game for the PS4 anyway.
Might still pick up a steambox though.
I would buy this for the PS4 on day one and platinum all three games over again.
Hats off to you, man. I had a very hard time beating it on Grim and never even attempted Morbid. Maybe I'll have to take another shot at it now.
Will buy. Want now.
I'm not an xbox fan. I was PS3-only last gen, and I only have a PS4 so far this gen. I'm happy to see the PS4 doing well. But it's way, way too soon to speculate about the xbone being doomed.
How can anybody even think it's "too late" for the xbone? I think we can all agree that the PS3 got off to a horrible start last gen, but it ended up passing the 360 in sales by the end. I don't see the xbone being that successful, but the PS3 illustrates how silly it is to write a console off after a few rough months.
Apparently I'm imagining the new bug where you randomly lose all your guns and unlocks.
Battlefield 4: Half the price, twice the bugs.
LOL @ "doesn't even look next gen." Not on the xbone maybe.
Titanfall 1 will remain an Xbox/PC-only title.
Titanfall 2+ will be released for PS4/XB1/PC. Microsoft can't realistically buy exclusivity for sequels when it's competitor has well over 50% market share.
Edit: When Titanfall 2 comes out for PS4, nobody is going to want to go back pick up TF1. That's not how the FPS genre works.
