Really hope the dodgy release period doesn't put them off making a sequel in the future. I loved it, but I know there's a lot of room for improvement.
Actually have the power to do it now. I still choose resolution/fidelity over performance on games that give me the choice though.
As a PS5 owner I think Doom would be the one I'd miss the most if it went exclusive to Xbox/PC. Also really intrigued to see what Starfield will be like.
@Nicknasty, I mean there's problems if Ubisoft games are installed on a normal HDD. They seem to be optimised on PC to run on SSD's.
I had an issue where the Division 2 would lag however low the graphics settings were, then I bought a decent SSD and my laptop can run high settings at 60 fps with no problems at all.
You can't change anything too drastically or they'll lose a lot of the fan base. Most people will be reasonably happy with it. I remember Pro Evolution Soccer tried to drastically change their game, maybe about 10 years or so ago, and it was absolutely terrible. That probably set them back a good few years trying to compete with Fifa. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, unless you're really sure!
Really? Was it installed on a decent speed SSD? Ubisoft open world games seem to suffer massively otherwise.
I bought a house instead.
Depends which patch you mean. The next big patch to fix bugs and improve performance (particularly last gen) is coming towards the end of March. The PS5/Series X patch is just coming sometime in the second half of 2021.
@Knushwood Butt
I'd say the demo is a poor example of what's to come, it didn't really grab me at that point either. I purchased it years later and really enjoyed it. I only got part-way through a second playthrough though, may try to carry on at a later date as I've heard it gets much better.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's under 40GB on PS5 then.
To clarify, the spare two went to my mates
Good idea, I think a lot of people will get into it if they spend a decent amount of time on it. I didn't think it was for me after half an hour or so, but the more I play it the more I enjoy it.
Sony wouldn't have known there was going to be a scalping problem, just like nobody else did, so nobody had a chance to put anything in place. It's not really Sony's responsibility to implement anything against scalpers, and it's practically impossible for them to roll anything out to the thousands of retailers worldwide that are selling PS5's. It would take a very long time to get anything in place to stop scalpers, hopefully some individual retailers are putting things i...
Thankfully 3 of the PS5's were mine.
I loved Cyberpunks UI, seemed to fit the theme perfectly. Also liked that you could set the brightness of it.
It's a triple AAA game with high quality sounds and textures, it's going to be big. The performance and quality of graphics on last gen consoles is really excellent, so they probably prioritise this over making it slightly smaller.
They are fully aware that it annoys people, so I'm sure they're not doing it on purpose!
PS5 and Series X versions should hopefully be a bit smaller when they're released.
Yeah I agree that's the main issue, lot's of people don't want Warzone forced on them.
40hrs+ not enough for you?
Travels to Racoon City?
The Pro version really doesn't look awful. Obviously nothing compared to something like God of War, but CP2077 is an open world RPG.
